A shocking picture has emerged of a naked man escaping from what is believed to be an abduction in Grimsby.

It is understood the man had his hand badly wounded or severed before or after smashing through the front window of a house in Convamore Road to escape his abductors.

It is believed he was being held against his will at the house after being forced to leave another address in Cleethorpes earlier on Saturday.

Humberside Police have been contacted for comment. Anyone with information about the incident should contact police, quoting log number 432 of September 12.

House where naked man escaped 'reported hundreds of times'

Residents have told how they've had years of trouble with the 'drug den' where a man fled from naked and injured on Saturday night.

The man claimed he had been abducted and was forced to smash through the window of the Convamore Road house to escape.

The house on Convamore Road has been the target of several petrol bombings and has a constant stream of drug-related activity, locals say. One woman said the Grimsby house had been reported to police "hundreds of times", and the incident on Saturday night didn't come as a surprise.

"20 or 30 people can turn up there every day at all times of day or night.

"Some of the neighbours are scared to use their back gardens because of the needles they find lying in them.

"One person put up a sign saying 'I'm not the dealer, don't knock here'.

"I get 'zombies' hanging over my garden wall after they've been there, and I have to tell them to clear off.

"It was petrol bombed a couple of weeks ago - men jumped out of a car with axes to break a hole in the window and threw it in. It only set fire to the curtains though.

"This is a street where everyone looks after each other, but it's been one thing after another since they took over that house. I'll be glad when they're gone and it can get back to normal."

Another petrol bomb attack on the house led to the arrests of three men in February.

A man who lives on the street said he regularly sees people carrying bin bags of what he believes are stolen items to the house to exchange for drugs.

Another resident said: "The drug-related activity at that house is constant. It's been reported to police hundreds of times.

We are aware of speculation that the man was carrying a body part, however this is not the case.

Snip

Two people have been arrested in connection with the incident and remain in our custody.

“I want to reassure the community that we believe this to be an isolated incident with no further threat to the public.

The title of your thread is incorrect.
The man was not holding a severed arm ,he injured it leaving the building via the window.
One of your linked articles confirms this.

The thread title is copied from the title of the article. And, yes, I saw that when I read the second article, which is why I bolded the sentence. I can't change the title once it's posted but I'll alert a mod.
