Man charged with murder after body of 58-year-old mum-of-two found

Nelly Myers was discovered at her house in Court Meadow Close near Crowborough last Wednesday evening (December 18).

The 58-year-old, who was born in Peru, had lived in Sussex for almost three decades where she raised her two sons with her husband.

A 35-year-old man had been charged with her murder.

Jayesh Gobar, unemployed, of Moorland Road in Maidenbower, Crawley, appeared at Lewes Crown Court yesterday (December 24).

He will enter a plea at a hearing on January 20 with a trial set for June 15.
