This is where I am baffled. Why didn't SGI go the distance?
Perhaps he didn't have the resources to do so. The cost of the search must be astronomical.

I'm confused... nothing new there! Is the 70yr old witness with the fluffy white dog the Wyreside caravan park owner, and is his wife the lady who tied Willow up? Or have I got it totally wrong?

Is there a reason why we haven’t seen a single dash cam image of NB walking between the school and river path? Even if she only passed 50 cars surely one of them has dashcam???

What about her car on the drive to school? Did any other vehicles pass her and have dashcam? (Might show her/a passenger/any cars behind her?)

Surely LE or someone desperate for social media likes/attention would have leaked one by now?

The sonar chap said it’s too shallow to get out that far? Even his boat got stuck on the riverbed it was so shallow.
but isn't the area they're heading to also close to the Yachting club? Skippool Creek
Can't be that shallow - just in parts

Maybe somebody local will help explain

I suppose it just helps us from going round & round in circles speculating on wrong information. Also, incorrect information in the public domain could potentially prevent a potential witness from coming forward with vital information. But yes we are going to discuss the highly unusual circumstances in this case regardless if it comes from police or MSM, I would just rather discuss the facts. (jmo)
I think the only facts we can be sure of come from the Official police statements and press conferences. I said upthr ead that the family could do with having help from an official spokesperson who can guide and advise them on dealing with the media. Friends are no doubt well meaning but may not be 100% up to speed on everything. JMO

Just noticed that yesterday someone registered www.nicolabulley.com on Go Daddy.

Could be for a campaign, people close to NB preventing someone else using domain featuring her name, or an opportunist.

Oh, it's rerouting to some odd website so nobody close to her and not for the campaign then...

Okay but let's be real. None of us on SM - whether it's here on WS or in a FB group is going to solve this case ( realistically ) How does putting that - with the extra 6 exclamation marks - help on Facebook?

What's wrong with TA instead suggesting to family that when the Family Liaison* officer calls/arrives tomorrow, they ask that they urgently speak to team to ask whether key buildings on river banks have been checked? ( Direct comms w LE - not via FB - has to be better imo)
( the FLO* updates the family every day, Riley said so, in both pressers)
I agree. The FLO will be able to answer those questions and be a go between. That is their job. Staying off FB would help too

I think he spoke with the caravan owner (lady who tied the dog to the bench)

So I think the SONAR guy was talking about a small stretch of river immediately downstream from the weir. I think that is probably the only stretch of river around where NB went missing where the river could be crossed on foot.

Her poor family must be so overwhelmed.

My dog got lost from his dog walker this week and when I got the call from the random person saying they’d found him, pretty much straight away (because of my number on his collar), he had returned to the dog walkers van and was barking at it. Made me think about this case again … perhaps the dog lost sight of her for whatever reason so returned to where it last saw her / was trying to go back where they’d started … that doesn’t make sense of course if the dog was found much further away which is another point that's not entirely clear…
That was my thoughts on why it was going back and forth bench to gate. The dog is USED to that sequence of events. If she normally stops around the bench to put the harness on then head to the gate Willow would be like-where did she go!? This is the part I get my harness and we go through the gate. She may run back and forth trying to bring Nicola into the picture :(
Dogs generally arent smart enough to pickup on a wrench being thrown in the works and think independently from patterns, like humans. They are trained based on repetition.

Seems potentially more significant than most posts on this topic, given what we know.
I wonder if they have informed the Police about that if it is indeed true. That's a direct threat.

New poster here so apologies in advance if this post is in the wrong place. Surely the reason why the police are adamant she went in the river is the data from the Fitbit. I can look at my fitbit app and it will tell me when I took my last step and/or when my heart stopped beating. If these times are different then they know she's sadly passed after taking her last step just before that. For me the issue is was it an accident or was she assaulted, hence why they want dashcam footage. To me the key is in the Fitbit data and that's why they are so confident about her going into the water
Then why isn't she in the river? Others have gone in to the same river and turned up weeks later but haven't been searched for as thoroughly as she has and can't find reports of anyone going in and never being found.

I assume this was at high tide, yes? Just to show how really how impossible it would be for a body to transport down river ...

Let's think logically. If she's not in the river now, as the expert insists, then A. She never was in there. B. She was but is now in the Irish Sea or C. She fell in but climbed out.

As police seem sure she went in then she must be out in the sea now. Anyone disagree?

Hi all,
I have been reading/following all this thread (multiple) and one thing nobody mentioned (or I missed it) was - did PA ever try to contact NB on her phone at all? as she hasn't returned home for a long time?
One would expect if NB was working that day she would have retuned home in 30 mins?
So PA did ever try to phone to check if all was ok? or wondered why she is not home yet?

thanks

Yes that was my belief so he didn't actually see nicola walking the dog
Please forgive me if I'm wrong
