Its a scousism, which my kids are slipping into using! A few people I know really advocate for it being an official word for the plural of "you"

Jury called into court

Justice Yip calls the jury into court and we're ready to begin.

She apologises for the delay and tells them: "We were just following up on what we addressed yesterday. We’re all satisfied there’s nothing to be concerned with and it’s been dealt with."

Henry Riding will now read some agreed facts into the record. These are pieces of evidence that are not disputed between the prosecution and defence.

Irwell Chambers is a serviced apartment block ( posting this in case anyone else, like me, thought it might be Legal Chambers )

I wonder why he'd disconnected the electricity at his house. He can't have been short of money! Could it be to destroy evidence? I'm very untechy, so not sure about these things!

I was surprised they had recovered SIMs from a legal office !

Hands up, I thought it was legal chambers too and it was maybe a prearranged arrest.

Me neither re why he did that. I can understand removing the cctv and he had obv moved out, but not sure why the complete disconnect.

Interesting they're now talking about Paul Russell, Kayleeanne Sweeney and Nicholas McHale. We know PR has been charged with assisting an offender. I wonder if the other 2 are facing any charges.

I wonder if its to do with TC saying its not him, esp where the clothing has been shared. Prosecution have proven PR and NH werent in the vicinity during the day and/or at time of shooting. So defence cant now try to create suspicion around whether it was the other 2 men as a form of reasonable doubt defence for TC ie " it wasnt my client, but maybe it was the other men whose names weve heard" kind of thing. So prosecution are nipping that potential line of defence/ creation of reasonable doubt in the bud?

"Everyone has worked extremely hard"

That is all that will be heard during the second week of the trial.

Justice Yip tells the jury: “Everyone has worked extremely hard again this week.
“We have made really good progress and we are coming towards the end of the prosecution case.

“There is a need for some work to be done outside of court.
“Counsel have been very considerate, and they will do some of that this afternoon.
“It means you can go home.

“Thank you very much for your work this week.
“Have as relaxing a weekend as you can and don’t go looking for anything about the case or do any research of your own.”

The trial will resume at 10am on Monday. Thanks for following our live updates, and we will be back in Manchester Crown Court next week.
