From the link. Police won't comment on any arrests made but to expect a statement in the next couple hours.

Gaah, I'm supposed to be going to bed at a reasonable time tonight. I have a mega busy day tomorrow...

Within the cordon a separate cordon was erected around the Delicious Deli and the adjoining Mr Tasty.

Three forensic officers in white suits were active outside. Around 8:45pm a small white tent, typically used to prevent evidence becoming contaminated was erected outside the deli.

At the same time officers were focusing on a property in Brown Avenue, which is less than 500 yards from the shop.

I have a mega bus up north tomorrow and I don't want to go to bed yet either. This is moving fast, I'm guessing if there's a statement to be released tonight there must be something significant to say.

Brown Ave is supposedly Deli owners home address. Wasn't sure sharing home addresses was allowed.

Just to clarify Ashy who spoke with press during days Paige was missing owns the convenient/grocery store to the left and is a separate building altogether from Deli & Mr Tasty.

I wonder what on earth happened. How does a girl walking into a shop to buy a roll turn into that girl being brutally murdered? I wonder did she say where she was off to and he offered her a lift?

It looks like the Police were very lucky that Ashy spoke up about having seen Paige!

Thanks. It looks like him spotting Paige by chance, walking past his shop that morning could be the vital clue that led police to her killer.

<modsnip>

STV news this second showing the delicious deli shop and the interview with Mr Ahmed. He does say he seen her wave go into shop and never seen her again but she wouldn't have to walk back past his shop to the bus-stop. The police appealing for information or if any1 acting suspicious on Saturday and anyone acting suspicious in the Clydebank area on Monday. Crucial information needed etc. Police are working around the clock and WILL find her killer (I have no doubt about it)

NO mention of the ongoing situ going on tonight. I will stay up for the 11pm Scottish news, may have more details on that.

Arrests - plural?

It's quite late there now isn't it? After 11 pm?

I think something happened inside the shop. Probably ... the usual ... :gaah:

Shopkeeper Ashy Ahmed, who runs the Fleming Foodstore on Fleming Avenue, said he saw her at 8.15 am, when she was buying a roll and sausage from the Delicious Deli next door shop.

He said: “I was doing my rolls, as I always do, so I know the time was quite accurate.

“Paige came walking past, right by the door and I waved at her and she put her hand up to wave back.

“She had been in the week before and bought a roll but on Saturday she went into Johnny’s next door to get one.

“I spoke to him later and he said she was cheery and bright, just the way she always is.

“She is a lovely girl and you would never get any bother from her.

He seems like the perfect family man going by FB. Of course this means nothing.

Yeah. People think they know someone inside out but really we never know what anyone is capable of no matter how well we think we know them! [emoji20]
