Seems all quiet with Philippe. Anyone heard anything? Are they searching in France or other borders?

It's totally quiet online, no updates or new posts at all. Nothing new on social media accounts of his friends and family either. It's very odd.

If I'm allowed to share his Facebook page, it mentions he visited and possibly lived at some point in Val D'Illiez in Switzerland.

Edited to add - it appears his sibling lives in Switzerland so presumably it wouldn't be that strange for him to go there, however they shared an appeal when he first went missing so that would suggest he isn't there. It's so confusing.

It would be good to have some updates from family, so either people can keep vigilant, particularly in the relevant area, or if he has been located he can be marked safe. Things seem to have gone cold.

The initial missing posts are still online but there's no updates at all

Did he ever turn up?

Nothing updated since June on the missing site, or elsewhere.

Silence from Police when asked if Phillipe is still missing, so I get the feeling they have information that suggests he is definitely safe and well, but have not confirmed it directly with Phillipe himself, therefore have left the original missing appeals up but let it go quiet. The fact that family have let it go quiet but left the 'Find Phillippe Fraser' Facebook page up also suggests there's something going on in the background but it's nothing sinister or worrying.

I do find it frustrating as I've asked Lambeth Police a few times if Philippe is still missing and whether the public still need to be aware and looking out for him, and they simply don't answer. I understand there's always information they don't share, and why should they if it's none of my (and the general public's) business, but it gives the wrong impression, that they're indifferent and dragging their feet.

No updates still.

Nothing on the Find Philippe Fraser group posted since June.

It would be nice to hear if found, or if not, what steps are being taken to find him. Seems to all have gone stony cold.

Past December 1st, 2021 a memorial for Philippe Fraser was held at the Hootananny.

The memorial plaque lists his year if birth and year of death as 2021.
Yet there has been no mention of a body being found or of him even passing away.

Are they just presuming he's dead...?

That's what I wondered: are they just dedicating it to him for his service there and remembering him in hus absence, or was he actually found deceased? Certainly after it appearing he seemed to have gone abroad, there was nothing more appeals-wise.

As I reported above, the Find Philippe Fraser FB page disappeared sometime between September and first week of November, which would tie in with then having a December Brixton memorial.

I would doubt it. I think there's a period of time that one waits before someone can be declared missing presumed dead - isn't it over seven years of no sighting or such?

I live in London and had not heard of this case at all which surprised me. I guess sometimes when a person has taken their life, the family keep it really quiet and private.

Out of curiosity I'd like to know what happened but seems clear he left home intentionally, he went to the Alps barely equipped to be in the freezing cold December, so maybe he was unwell and not rational or maybe he'd made a firm plan. Either way, it would seem he completed his plan and somehow that fact must have been established. JMO

May he rest in peace now.

Sorry, but the plaque very clearly says...
1985 - 2021 (Year he was born > year of his passing)
2009 - 2021 (years he worked at the Hootananny)

For what I heard his body was found around November 2021 in Switzerland. There's an obituary page dedicated to him which mentions Valais (a Swiss canton). But I can read it since it's behind a paywall.

He's was not only an employee, he was part of the family that owns the Hoots. His aunty runs it.
