Wouldn't it all have been easier for PA to admit this all happened, stating that he believed VG was of age and that it was consensual, and apologizing for his unseemly behavior etc?
Seems he's just dug a deeper hole for himself with all his ludicrous denials which are so easily refuted.

It is part of the normal litigation process to deny her claims and assert affirmative defenses.

It wasnt Beatrices wedding it was her birthday party and Weinsteins girlfriend at the time was a designer and a friend of Fergies and she made Beatrices dress so it does make sense that her and her partner would be there to be fair. I dont think at the time even the gf who ended up marrying him knew what he was. I do get where you are coming from though.

Right! I get the sense that VG will not settle in this case and that it’s destined to proceed to trial. IMO with the Me Too movement and now the guilty verdict of GM, I think PA is no longer untouchable like he must have thought he was in the beginning. I believe that VG’s mission is bigger than just receiving a lump sum of money at this point. Time will tell!

VG spoke of how when she saw that photo surface of JE and PA strolling in the park, it triggered her to know they were still up to their old tricks. Taking a settlement is facing them in courts through depositions, lawyers, etc. VG was trafficked to PA imo. She was used as an object — a thing — for the benefit of dirty old men. In the end, they all claim they never met her/knew her/couldn’t remember her. She just so happened to have had a photo of herself with PA to prove that he did meet her, he did know her. What’s not to comprehend about being used like that by another human being and wanting there to be justice. moo.
