Prince Philip, 99, in hospital 'as a precaution' - BBC News

The Duke of Edinburgh was admitted to hospital on Tuesday evening "as a precautionary measure" after feeling unwell, Buckingham Palace has said.

Prince Philip, 99, was taken to the King Edward VII Hospital in London, the statement added.

A palace source told the BBC that he travelled by car to the hospital, where he was admitted as a precaution on his doctor's advice...

Prince Phillip is awesome. Never afraid to say what he thinks. Hope he makes a speedy recovery and we get to celebrate his 100th Birthday :)

That is what I am hoping for too. I would love him to be able to celebrate his 100th birthday in June.

He is in one of the top London private hospitals so will be receiving the best possible care. I am sure they will not allow him to suffer .

I mean, I don’t know what’s up with him but he’s almost 100 and his health hasn’t been exactly great for a while.
