Concern is growing for Rachel’s welfare. The sandiway Garage is a Shell Petrol station with a Little Waitrose. This is approx 7 miles from her home in Barnton. To me she has jogging/running attire on.

Do we know what she does for a living? Maybe she gets up before dawn to work out before the workday begins??

I've not seen anything about what job she does. But that's true, it all depends if this is a normal time for her to go for a run or not.

The Wild Shore Delamere Park watersports centre said in a statement it is closed “due to ongoing police investigations in the surrounding area”.

The statement added: “This incident is unrelated to Wild Shore – however we wish to help as much as possible – so we will be closing the site until further notice."
That is quite a cryptic comment. It seems quite a coincidence they have an unrelated police investigation in the same area and at the same time a woman goes missing.

Just a hunch, but perhaps they want to use the parking lot as a staging area?

Possibly, though I would have thought there could be other places that could be done and I would have thought they could have said that in their statement.
It would be costly to the company to close a water park on a Sunday in July ,so I do not think they would do it unless absolutely necessary and there was no other option.

“We would also like to appeal directly to Rachel to get in touch to let us know you are OK.
“You can report information to Cheshire Police via 101 or through www.cheshire.police.uk/tell-us quoting IML-2136439.”

Wonder if she was stressed, had MH issues or had an argument with someone and had gone for a run to clear her head. Moo

The statement in the Standard ( article posted above) has made it clearer to me .
It was not ,as I previously thought ,referring to a separate incident which happened at the water park .

Officers are currently searching a well-known beauty spot in Oakmere as part of the investigation. Police have also shut down a nearby holiday attraction, Wild Shore Delamere, to assist with the search.

The popular water-based adventure park announced its temporary closure on social media, writing: “Due to ongoing police investigations in the surrounding area, Wild Shore Delamere will remain closed tomorrow, Sunday, July 20th.

I am wondering if the blonde hair is a wig as in the garage picture her hair looks to be shorter and darker.

Her hair is just tied back in the garage photo and her roots are growing out.

Police looking for a missing woman have launched an underwater search near a popular beauty spot.

Rachel Booth, aged 38, disappeared in the early hours of Saturday, after she was last seen by her family in the village of Barnton in Cheshire, police said.

Police are becoming “increasingly concerned” for the welfare of a woman missing, with divers joining the search to find her.

Underwater search teams have joined the hunt for Rachel Booth, 38, from Northwich, who was reported missing in the early hours of Saturday, 19 July, police said.

She was last seen by family in the Barnton area of Northwich, Cheshire, before a more recent sighting at around 3:50am around five miles away at the Sandiway garage on the A556 road.

MISSING mum Rachel Booth bought wine and milk from a petrol station at 3.50am after a 45-minute run, a worker has claimed.

Issac Carolan, 19, who works at the garage, told The Sun: "I spoke to my colleague who had served her on Saturday morning.

"She bought milk and wine and jogged from 45 minutes away."

He added: "But it didn't seem weird, she didn't seem disturbed or flustered."

Meanwhile, at a Premier store in Barnton, the area where Rachel lives, staff and customers were shocked by her disappearance.

Raj Kaur, 30, who works at the shop, said: "She is a lovely clever lady - always coming in here for her parcels.

"She is very active and very nice we all liked her."

A middle-aged mum, who declined to give her name, said: "I knew her from the school and she was always pleasant - she has three boys at the school."

Officers are today searching a popular Cheshire beauty spot in Oakmere, including around Delamere Lake Sailing & Holiday Park, in their desperate bid to find Rachel.

I wonder if she knew anyone connected to the holiday park.

It sounds as if the police might have some information which has led to these searches in the holiday park.
