The right-hand side of the laptop appears to be bent, and the logo seems to be off-centered to the right. I don't have any theories as to the logo but I am wondering is it possible for a laptop to become bent in the process of disposal, or would manual force have to have been applied prior? I would assume it would have to be the latter. Also, with the bend being on the RHS, could this in anyway indicate the handedness of the person that applied the necessary force?

Ok....how did you even know the address?

The house is marked on me map HERE I identified it through photos and the street address named in MSM.

Also I will have to go back to find the post, but the BBC Point West clip I shared earlier today showed a brief clip of forensics inthe back garden of the house. I'll go get the link again

Wasn't it said that it was actually a laptop case and not a laptop? Sure I read that somewhere on this thread.

Further arrests could be made after speaking to the two arrested today..

Agree, it could be one of those metal drums from the garden that thousands of people burn their garden waste etc in. The posts on this thread are becoming a bit dramatic now.

I've never had a metal drum nor know anyone else with one - but maybe it's because we don't have a garden...

He's been quoted in the press responding to the arrests. We assume those arrested are being questioned and not in a position to chat to journalists.

OK thanks, I had only seen Uncle Sam's statement.

So what does everyone reckon? I know an arrest doesn't mean being charged, but hypothetically do we think its someone known to Becky?

Yeah it was on the ITV news website that the police had dismissed the "laptop case", but I can't find it now :\ x

What if the large item they moved from the house was one of these type of bins. I know people who have those in their garden. Seems a similar size and shape. Just a thought.

I think it is more likely than not, if only because the police are being so hush-hush about who they've arrested. If it was random strangers, it wouldn't be likely to be so sensitive.

On bing maps (is clearer) it shows up blue, on google it shows up white.

I see it too on bing maps, and I'd say that could very well be it!

It is definitely a laptop, or the shell of one, not a case for a laptop. But didn't realise police had dismissed it, and I can't find that information either.

I think it's a family member or someone close to the family/known to Becky who was in the house that morning. JMO :)

On Bing maps, you can see a blue barrel/oil drum/water butt behind the shed on the left of the picture, in between the shed, the front gates and on the side of the fence (not the house) on google maps it is showing up as a white circular shape. Just a thought, going by the maps and the picture there has been work done there at some time since the map views. Would the police have put the roof structure up at the side of the house to hide evidence from the media?
