they all would have known already though (before SH went on the stand) what JI is going to say, it's still not making sense to me

Maybe that's why SH was making sure the jury heard the violent nature of the relationship and that she was angry with NM for what he did, then make her plea.

They broke just after she said "It was just that he lied". Then defence stopped.

Yes, but maybe, after her comments this morning, which were less than impressive ( imo ) maybe Mr Defence Barrister is having another strong word with her re going for guilty on some of the charges. Not the murder one - obviously

Yeah, maybe advising to go guilty for Preventing lawful burial and perverting the course of justice

I think maybe she's nipped out for one of those massive long cigarettes she smokes.

Ha ha ha I just burst out laughing there.

The week I'm off work and court is slow. I've managed to put a washing on and get some dishes done tho :)

That said ... IF I was accused of something and I WAS innocent there's not a being alive that could make me plead guilty ... I'd rather sit, wrongly jailed that admit to something I haven't done ... yup, I'm stubborn!

I'm worried.

If as is being reported in the comments section of UK & Eire fb page that SH barrister IS in court then obviously he's not conferring with SH. I'm guessing she's having some kind of "episode". Court adjourned for day possibly?

Can't be a toilet break, we know she rarely needs to wee.

They might know what he's going to say but not what the pros are going to ask him. Maybe his statement doesnt mention a woman at all but we know if he takes the stand pros will ask him about it

I agree, I wouldnt hold my hand up to something I had not done, but Im looking at it from the view that she is involved in the whole thing.

I agree. Don't think it would be stubborn though.

Same as those people wrongly jailed for murder who can't get parole as they won't admit the crime or show remorse. They'd rather maintain their innocence and stay in jail, than lie and say they did it, just to get out.

Not stubborn, I think most folk would be like that.

Yep that would be me! Sitting in jail, making chalk marks of how many days I'd been wrongly jailed ... Still on the other hand, if I am in the wrong I'm ready to admit it and try and put it right ...
