I keep flip-flopping with what I think happened. Her apparent calmness under questioning from a top barrister puzzles me - I mean she can stand up to this type of interrogation under stressful conditions, but couldn't stand up to a 5 foot 5, fibro-suffering invalid of a man all these years?

My current opinion is that she knew/suspected what was going on, but as it didn't concern her, she just let it all happen. She knew there would be no forensic evidence of her taking part (as she left him to do all the stuff that would be incriminating) so she wasn't too bothered as she thought it couldn't get pinned on her. I think she didn't really care what had happened to Becky, so long as it didn't end up causing any problems in her life.

I agree, I'm still with my original thoughts (I think!) that:

she was complicit in the kidnap plan,
it was never meant to be murder,
they agreed she'd make herself scarce in the garden to smoke a foot long cigarette,
he has accidentally killed Becky and told SH immediately,
she has gone nuts and refused to physically help him sort it out,
they eventually formed a plan to get her off the hook by playing dumb.

Interesting what Retri said last night, that the family is split over whether SH was involved in the actual killing, but they ALL believe she helped with the clear up. If that's the case it speaks volumes, they know way more than we do.

Somebody on Uk and Eire has pointed out that last week in court she said she didnt even think she showed NM the frozen parody video and only watched it for a few seconds. Today she remembers showing him

There are a lot of very similar observations and comments on that site, to this one. Lots of people picking up inconsistencies like the above, and wondering why the prosecution aren't grilling her on them. I can only assume they are hoping the jury are picking up on them and/or they will summarize them all at the end. It does seem pretty tame to me.

I was interested to read the comment that Becky's bedroom window was open at the time of the attack - that was the first time I'd read that.

Just going back to the buying of supplies.
SH has said, today, that she thought NM was clearing the house, ready to move. so did they have a move planned ? or did she just think that they might be moving house, but had not asked him - following her usual system of never asking, never questioning ?

It's so strange, it's not like he went out frequently and she never asked where he was going, she's there in every situation but says nothing.
The neighbour heard them arguing, NM said on the stand they argued a lot, but she never asked him any questions relating to Becky from the 19 Feb?!

I was going to pint that out and was trying to find an article to quote to. SH said that she downloaded it to show him but only ended up watching a couple of seconds herself. She never got to show nM

Yes I saw that window comment but couldnt find the original source - if true, it makes a total mockery of SH saying she heard nothing, the window was at the back of the house, overlooking the garden where the endless cigarette was being smoked....

NM didn't want the delivery people to know where he lived if I remember correctly.

Maybe his boss knew her name? Shauna's quite un usual name.

Yes but what is the problem with that? It's her house. She lives there..fair enough if he didn't want his boss to put 2+2 together about him living there (although I doubt the boss would be that interested,after all he was paying him cash I'm hand)

This is iffy evidence though cos the testimony was from a friend of JI's saying JI had seen "a man" and "a woman" arguing.
Maybe JI will testify later on to clarify
