wonder why we are hearing all about JIs searches ( whilst at work ) for his girlfriend - checking places to buy her presents and take her on holidays. I am slightly missing the relevance of all this. I think we already got the picture, they skived off and didnt do much work, but this seems a bit OTT, all the detail re the girlfriend.

Really must take a break and do some housework. Its not as bad as SH/NM's yet, but another week of sitting on the laptop and my husband is going to start asking exactly what do I do all day!

It was said that it was proof he was getting a big pay off for helping, but I think he's denying that he was(getting a big pay off)

If he isn't sleeping, maybe he was taking a medication to aid sleep, which has been withdrawn. My son takes a hormonal sleeping aid, which isn't a sleeping tablet.

I think it may be cannabis which he deems as medication needed to sleep, obv it's illegal tho. Just with his saying they regularly went out for a 'smoke' during work hours. They could all be cannabis users. Goes back to what people use the word smoke for, I wouldn't say I'm going out for a smoke if it was a cigarette but maybe this is the phrase he uses, maybe not JMO

It was initially said that due to being offered money to move the stuff he started searching for ways to spend it

Yeah you are probably right, I'm shocked they are withholding adhd meds from him if that's the case. Although I have no experience of how adhd meds work, could be the meds for sleeping.

To prove his behaviour didn't change around the time of Becky's disappearance. The searches weren't done as a result of being offered money. The searches were usual behaviour - not an incentive to become involved in the disposal of Becky's body?

So the clothes and holiday searches are after he agreed to do the moving of the body parts then ? when he knew he was coming into money. that makes sense.


sorry, my pc is a bit slow, just seen all the other responses to my comment....

so basically, he is saying the searches were normal for him, not something he was doing because he was going to get 5K as a payoff .

I can't help but feel sorry for JI.....

He has been utterly honest IMO. I don't think he knew what was in the bags but knew they contained something illegal (drugs, stolen goods etc)
