Fair point but I know many people who were prescribed ADHD meds and the basically left to it

Yes, the same with mine. Paediatrician has to prescribe and I take the prescription to his doctor to actually get the meds. Doctor is like the middle man - he can't prescribe or alter the prescription. I can only get one packet at a time, the doctor isn't allowed to prescribe more than that.
Ha! I'm still in my PJ'S too, but it is only 8:22 in the morning here in Vermont! LOL Unfortunately I have to get dressed and leave for the day, so I'll be playing catch-up tonight.
I have never heard the word "skive" before. Can someone tell me what that means?
Sincere question: JI says he's from a family of 9. SH is from a family with 8 kids. Is it common for British families to have such big families? I don't know anyone with that many kids, even in stepfamilies. Just curious, as I can't imagine raising any more than the 3 we did (energy, expense, the whole kit and kaboodle would be overwhelming! LOL).

Skive kinda means shirk, so you can skive off school, work etc, in other words not turn up or mess about when you're there. Funny, I just looked it up on thesaurus.com and there isn't really a properly comparable word on there. I'm sure someone can think of a better one!
And no, it's not typical for British families to have that many kids, we're very much 2.4 children, if not less than that these days. Obviously there are plenty of families that have that many - and more. Irish families seem to have more (catholic = no cntraception) but the only families I know with more than 4 or 5 kids are Asian. One nice family is regularly featured in a documentary called "16 kids & counting" but there has recently been a run of large benefits family hitting the headlines for all the wrong reasons. I imagine we're much the same as the US or Oz in our family demographics.

Hey I really don't think there's any need for the(modsnip) remark ... we're meant to be grown ups here and above name calling ... and if 'we' were just being honest I wouldn't call someone who's been with the same guy for 7 years a "Miss <modsnip>is now done with the prosecution? WTH?
Mr. Pros you have something* still to ask her no? Or you wouldn't be a prossecutor! :shame:
* something in this case for me is MANY things!

Colleagues used to borrow Ireland's phone to search the internet
Ireland said that Karl used his phone to search for bank accounts for children, and despite not knowing what he was doing at the time, said he would not have had a problem with it.
He said that searches for Disneyland Paris were also done by Karl.
"Around pay time, I would look at clothes, holidays that kind of things, football boots, stuff like that."
"I was hoping to try and find something at the right price so I could buy it."
James Ireland
He said he had searched for Swindon Designer Outlet so he could take his girlfriend there to get her a birthday present.
The 23-year-old added that he had googled where to go on holiday in March so he could take her somewhere to celebrate her "big" 21st birthday.
But he told the court, it was not within his budget.
Ireland said he had also searched 'tax calculators', on February 25 - two days after allegedly helping move Becky's body - as he believed he was being taxed more than anyone else at work.
