Not that it matters but I thought it was his actual hair. I've seen pictures with him with spiky sort hair but also seen ones of him with a longer bowl style haircut which is what I though it was in the cctv

Scratch that I've just seen different stills on the Daily Mail website and it is indeed a beanie hat

Well I agree Jinks, but what astounds me and is so clearly shown on that CCTV is his calmness and seeming composure. What 24 hours or so after he has killed Becky, and while he's buying something with such gruesome intentions in mind.
It's unbelievable to me, horrendous man.
Imo.

This might sound strange, but bear with me. His calmness while browsing for power tools does not surprise me. The reason? A person who is capable of thinking about, planning for, and carrying out such an act would only do so because he actually wanted to do it. So it would make sense that he is calm (also because he likely considers himself able to outsmart the police).

Its the same thing with most murderers in court. Many people act shocked that the person doesn't show remorse. Well, remorse is only going be there if the person had empathy to begin with. If they don't have the empathy and wanted to kill someone, and feel justified in their decision to do so- why would we ever expect them to show remorse?

Just wondering if NM & SH actually had a stun gun each and both went to Becky's room together to attack her, I did read there was two stun guns somewhere jmo

I agree with everything you say. I think it's more the shock from normal people like us at his calmness not that he is so calm as such. It's just beyond comprehension.

I gave up trying to post on here yesterday - kept logging me out!
I agree SH must have known and participated in the cover up evidenced by the joint shopping trips; DNA in face mask & in the knot of a plastic bag used to package body parts and the phoning her estranged mother out of the blue in order to delay the police coming to their house. At the moment though, I think it's going to be difficult to find her guilty of murder. Association with the self-confessed killer and conspiring to pervert the course of justice don't make her guilty of murder. I am not sure what percentage of evidence is being reported; there seems to be more reporting of what NM has told police & nothing regarding what SH has claimed.

Ditto with the being logged out !

I was debating this with some pals last night. I was of the opinion that SH will be convicted of murder, but they thought, as you do, that there may not be enough to prove she did anything, other than assist with the cover up. I do hope there is more evidence against her.

It would seem, so far as we've been told as yet, that this was a planned attack - to kidnap Becky etc ... if Shauna WASN'T involved - why on earth would he do it while Shauna and their small child were with him?

IF this was a sole enterprise - SURELY he would go alone to execute his plan?

I do think kidnapping plan was joint but my point is that I think it's going to be difficult to disprove that SH was sitting outside in the car as NM claims & to prove that she was in the bedroom and participated in the actual killing beyond reasonable doubt

Like above I too think that will be the sticking point when it comes to SH charge of murder. I'm at work so can't look it up fully but if found guilty of all the other charges put to her, what prison sentence would SH be looking at if she was found not guilty of murder?

Hoare’s mum Lisa Donovan had four children by Ernie Hall and Shauna was the youngest. Lisa then had a couple of children with second husband Mr Stone who has one of his own children.
Then Lisa had two children with another man after she and Mr Stone split up before they later got back together again, the jury heard.

I agree re the burden of proof but .... just taking NMs story as true for a moment ( which I dont believe at all ) then what was going to happen ?
He would * kidnap* Becky in her room, then what ? take her downstairs to the car, and pop her on the back seat with the child ? and say what to SH ?
that bit is hard to explain and I do hope he is asked to do so ( assuming he takes the stand which I suppose is doubtful )
