Humberside Police have announced there will be a press conference this afternoon about the arrests made over the disappearance of Kingswood mum Renata Antczak.

Reports police have returned to missing mum's Renata Antczak's house in Kingswood.

Officers were spotted at the property in the morning, but left just before midday.

Neighbours say they have returned just before 1pm.

The police press conference surrounding the mum-of-two's disappearance is happening in just under an hour. All updates of what is said will be posted here.

Nothing new from the press conference. Police just confirmed that 2 men have been arrested due to new information that has come to light and that the investigation remains as a missing person investigation.
Various properties being searched in the local area.
Then they made an appeal for anyone with any information to come forward.

Hmmm must admit my suspicion has been raised about the husband- saying she had gone back to Poland. Shades of the Helen Bailey case here?

Helen Bailey was the first person I thought of when I saw this case but I didn't want to point any fingers until a development happened.

I think it is just a matter of time before this changes from a misper investigation to a murder enquiry. I feel so very sorry for this ladies two daughters, what a confusing and horrible situation for them to be in.

Police have been carrying out enquiries at Genesis Dental Care where Renata's husband works.

The dentist has put up a sign to say that it is closed for the afternoon and we understand that police collected evidence from the premises.

16:01 Police searching houses and dentists surgery

Police have carried out searches at a dentist surgery where Renata Antczak's husband works at, along with a west Hull address.

Officers have been seen at both properties throughout Friday.

Officers have also searched a house in Emerald Grove, off Dairycoates Avenue in west Hull, which is believed to be linked to the investigations into the missing woman.

Police had been at the property since about 11am on Friday and had seized two cars.

"The family weren't in and the police went into the house and it looks like they've raided it because the forensic investigators were there. The police then locked the door and drove off with the cars, and the family haven't been back since.

The neighbour said he had seen undercover police officers outside the house several times in the past week.

Catching up. Two things that stand out in this article for me are

"The husband was also put into the back of a police car. Shortly afterwards, a young girl was also driven away by social services." - that poor child.

"Her husband, Majid Mustafa, 47, suggested she had returned to Poland to join a 'cult .He called the Mail last week to say there had been unconfirmed sightings of her in Lodz." Pretty damning!

17:20 Police return to Emerald Grove

Police have returned to Emerald Grove, which is believed to be linked to the disappearance of Renata Antczak.

CSI officers have been there throughout this morning and have returned this afternoon.

"The police have turned up with more vehicles," a resident said.

"They have been to the house. There's a Land Rover, a support vehicle, there's six officers and they have gone into the house.

"It's only a little grove with 13 houses and it's virtually filled.

"When they first searched it they locked it up and took both cars away. But they have all come back and they are there again."

The entire investigation took a new turn on Friday after police received 'new information'. This led to the arrest of two men, aged 47 and 45 years while properties across Hull were searched.

I wonder what this "new information" was and where it came from?
