Right at the beginning it stated she's registered disabled and her health had deteriorated and on medication I guess this was put as a warning for how she looks.. very similar to someone on high dose of morphine

But on interviews she isnt like this. I mean its like she is barely awake which to be fair would make sense with what you said

Aw Trevor :(

Interesting so her Barristers aim was to prove that Rikki wasnt there that night and that would show she was likely innocent...and yet...that surely applied to Watson?

I was thinking the same thing!!

If I am being honest and yes I know Ruth and her husband cooperated with C5 but...I do not believe that should have been shown or at least not with her in it. I don't know what she was hoping for in being interviewed but I am not sure it will go the way she intended personally. It was just a mess :( . Was wondering though why when they interviewed so many other people why they didnt even interview her daughters.

I have been thinking about what you said here. I am registered disabled and have been since I was 16. I used to have a green card but they dont do that now. The thing is just a few weeks ago now when she went on court she was totally different to last night. How she was last night she didnt seem like she would be capable of moving or keeping awake even. One of her daughters in an interview said they called her and made an allegation...I will see if i can find it.

Rikki Neave's sister blames their abusive mother for his death | Daily Mail Online This is the article I meant

From the article "
Rochelle said it was a 'victory' that Watson had been found guilty of murder 'because he thought he'd got away with it for that many years and thought we were just going to go away and roll under the table'. We weren't,' she added.

She was the last member of the family to see Rikki alive and she was three when he left their home in his school uniform.

She said: 'The last time I saw Rikki he leant over the [Moses] basket to say goodbye to Sheradyn [then aged six months] and she grabbed him around his stomach. I remember arguing with him, telling him he smelt. Then he left for school.'

Rochelle said: 'I called her but she is an alcoholic so she was just screaming and shouting down the phone.'

whether the last sentence...is anything to do with what we saw last night I dont know.

Reading all that tbh I am surprised he wasnt in the news before now. Someone said on this thread - I assume that they was from P eterborough that he wasnt known but by the sounds of it he definetly was. He also had to been in care quite a long while considering he had two parents not together.

sorry very late to reply (busy few weeks) and I have been reading a lot of your posts, so I think you’re local too :)

It may have been me that said no one knows him around town. Like if I said a few names to you now, you will know them straight away as it’s a small city. This guy has a disturbing pass going back 30 years and I have yet to see anyone who knows him or remembers him. It’s someone we should all be warned about and keeping an eye on!

I live in March now where Rikkis paternal family are but have also lived on Welland, Oundle Road and Fletton Ave:) I guess its possible that a lot of his offences may have not been in Peterborough but happened elsewhere.

Sentence day today...

Sentence day today...
I have been trying to work out what he could get. Jamie Bulgers killers were out for when they was around 20 I think. On the one hand they were younger but on the other hand what they did...was just horrible. The judge said he would be sentenced as if he was a kid still but...not sure how they would work exactly with all the offences hes done since

Not seen a thing to do with sentencing, don't tell me it's not today and they had to adjourn

You would think so as that where the trial was and they said about adjourning til today. On the other hand Ruth said she would be there and hasnt been to the Old Bailey yet I dont think

Apparently sentencing has been adjourned for several weeks.
