Northumbria Police are appealing for information to help find missing Wallsend man Ronnie Brown.

Ronnie, 81, is believed to have left his home in the Bracken Avenue area [of Wallsend, Tyne and Wear] yesterday [Sunday 06 Nov 2022] at around 7am and returned to the area at around 9am. However, it is unclear if he re-entered his home as he was not seen by family.

Searches are ongoing in the area to locate him and police are currently carrying out extensive door-to-door enquiries and appealing for CCTC and dashcam footage.

Ronnie is described as a white male, 5’2 and of a medium build. He is believed to be wearing a dark jacket, burgundy jumper and Sketchers trainers. He might be carrying a bag for life.

Just to let people know there is a find Ronnie group, just called Find Ronnie.

Searches suspended because they think Ronnie has gone in the river. Ronnie still has not been located.
