If there are three suspects being questioned or arrested, is it possible that the one who arranged the murder is her ex (unstable, jealous and unhinged), another is the ‘date’ who was in on the set up by the ex and part of the plan to see if she would meet him and the third is the actual person who murdered her?

If it was a planned attack it was exceptionally poorly carried out.

I am also very puzzled by this. Two individuals have been previously arrested on the suspicion of murder and later released pending further investigation. From my understanding it is a fairly high hurdle to arrest someone on that charge.

Thanks for welcome - I’ve just googled Grayston House Astell Road and there’s a 7th floor flat for sale that gives good views. Not sure on rules so have not linked

I guess they took care of perfect alibis.
And a hired hit man was stupid enough to get captured on cctv.

Three different men arrested so far so I am wondering if there is more too this. Was her killer known to her or even a trafficking incident gone wrong.

The picture i uploaded of the park is from a sale listing in the same block as Sabina lived.

Her family are from Sandy, Bedfordshire, about a 35 minute drive from Milton Keynes.
Thank you. Probably no connection with the other case then. I thought she was born in Milton Keynes so thanks for confirmation of Sandy, Bedfordshire.

I agree. I also don't think it was planned/carried out by a scorned lover as the police/media were clear at the outset that this was a stranger attack. Unless I have missed something and that has now changed at all?

Personally, I found it unusual that the police were explicit about saying they thought a stranger had done this at the beginning. How would they know if they hadn’t charged someone yet? It felt like misdirection to me and suggested to me that they suspected someone close to her but didn’t want to say so.

It is certainly puzzling and has thrown up many theories of some sort of orchestrated attack. I thought it was a random attack initially. Then came multiple arrests so immediately you start thinking it must be planned especially with it happening on her own doorstep.

They have released those first two though and it's really about how significant the "pending further investigation" part is. It could well be the first arrest was the "date", no extension was asked for, so was it just a matter of questioning and confirming he was where he said he was. The second arrest could also have been able to provide an innocent explanation for whatever reason police arrested him, again there was no extension. Could be in the vicinity or even close to the man they have now arrested in some way. Maybe he loaned him his car or was seen with the wanted man moments leading up to the attack but had nothing to actually do with it, this could apply to both arrests of course.

I'm not sure if they had actually had something to do with the crime that they would be released. They surely would represent a flight risk given it's such a heinous crime. It's all down to the wording I suppose and perhaps someone on here with experience of police procedure could provide some insight.

JMO But I think this man was unknown and acting alone. Another sexual predator. But there are so many oddities, like the carrying her over his should for such a distance, possible coke can used as a weapon! Really is impossible to know what to make of it all.

I think it was a stranger attack too. How would an ex or someone he hired know that she would be coming out of the apartment at that exact time? I can't see the ex setting up a date, it seems abit far fetched. If he was setting up a date it would have to be with someone he knows right? So he would have to put them in contact with her. Unless they had mutual friends and the guy already had her number but I just can't see it,
