There are 2 silver nissan pulsars parked on Dittons road, at separate houses. I think police said it was a micra? But the cctv of the car isn't very good .
They released an image of the apprehended car and reported it was a Micra, so fairly certain it is.

Just speculating here but I would guess they stopped him in his car, maybe he was parked there. The statement „at an address“ is a bit misleading. I struggle to place the individual on CCTV as living on Ditton Road from what we heard. They would have also searched a property today if he was indeed living there and that would have been in the news. The location is ominously close to the ferry terminal which links back to what we discussed earlier today. He parked on a quiet residential road to wait for the first ferry departure.

Driving to Eastbourne in a Nissan Micra to evade the police while there is a petrol buying panic going on doesn't seem like the most sensible way to avoid the police.

Perhaps he'd run out of petrol.

When he was captured on CCTV, was he walking along Pegler Square towards the park or in the other direction away from the park?
I believe he’s walking towards the central square bit, away from main road passing Cobham Hse

It's strange when the point is reached when you think someone is going to get charged. So many lives have been wrecked by the act of murdering someone, including their own. They have destroyed their own life too.

Interesting. Early reports stated he was arrested „at an address“ but later I read they stopped a car. Judging by Google streetview Dittons Rd appears to be a very affluent street with nice houses. Is this a fair statement?
Those houses are mainly split into 2/3 bed flats now

Sabina's sister visits scene of teacher's murder as suspect arrested

Ms Gibbs fears some people are forgetting there is a grieving family at the core of a case promoting global discussion about wider issues.

She added: “At the moment, we need to focus on the fact there is a family who has lost someone. Changes will come later.

“All this political stuff and organisations capitalising on it is just really not needed right now and it is wrong at this time. It is too soon. Barely a week has passed.

“This is a time for us to remember Sabina, not blaming or politics. Let’s respect the family. Let’s focus on Sabina and her loved ones.”

Really hoping for a charge in this case now. Hope we are there.

Is there a ferry at Eastbourne? I thought it at Newhaven.

No ferry in Eastbourne. Not far from Newhaven though.

Just had another look at the video. Looks like he could be pulling a red glove off his right hand .

How easy is it to get on a ferry these days? Is it realistic to think he was trying to catch a ferry?

Hang on - Telegraph article says the following

"A man was arrested on Sunday on suspicion of murdering Sabina Nessa, in what the Metropolitan Police described as a “significant development”.

The 36-year-old was detained at an address in East Sussex at 3am and remains in police custody."

...

"In a separate development on Sunday, a Nissan Micra matching that description was seized on a residential road in Eastbourne shortly after 7am before being taken by the Metropolitan Police for forensic analysis.

The leafy residential street, where houses are valued at more than £750,000, is some 66 miles from the crime scene.

Scotland Yard refused to say whether or not they had recovered the vehicle connected to Miss Nessa’s murder and said they were still appealing for information about the car."

Does this indicate that the man arrested at an address in East Sussex at 3am, is potentially not the same as the vehicle seized on Ditton Rd, Eastbourne around 7am?

Could be the owner of the vehicle which was seized later?

Googled Released Under Investigation, seems it's used quite a lot now instead of bail
Released Under Investigation – Frequently Asked Questions

Being released under investigation (RUI) means that you are suspected of a criminal offence and that the investigation into your alleged criminal activity is ongoing. You have not been charged, and nor has your case been passed to the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS). But you are not yet ‘out of the woods’, because the police are still suspicious that you have committed a criminal offence.

Hmm... So it indicates some kind of conspiracy to murder S by a larger group.
