[from Eastbourne Herald, Sep-20)

The man is described as white, in his late 20s or early 30s, around 5ft 11ins and of medium build.

He had brown hair and beard/stubble, and was wearing dark clothing, police said, including a dark hooded top with the hood up.

If only they hadn't said late 20s, it would be the description of CCTV guy.

My first post - forgive any faux pas!

Article in The Times (£) this morning suggests the most recent suspect was “Arrested in a rundown flat between two shops in the centre of the seaside resort” (Eastbourne) whilst the car was recovered “on a residential street on the outskirts of Eastbourne”

I didn’t realise there were two locations, thought it would be useful to share.

Police arrest man, 36, in hunt for Sabina Nessa’s killer | News | The Times

The Eastbourne Herald website has two pictures of police outside a property 'behind Terminus Road' where the arrest was made. Terminus Road is the main, partly pedestrianised route from the station towards the seafront and most of the roads on the eastern side of it are a bit run down. Dittons Road, where the car was stopped, is an entirely different matter, though only about a mile away. As a member has previously said, it backs on to Gildredge Park and even where the large houses are divided into flats, those flats are not cheap. But it's just off two routes out of Eastbourne - anyone could be driving through.

(Beaten to it by the previous poster!)

Yesterday I made a throwaway comment on here about how the balconies on Grayston House looked very tempting for burglars, especially the ones overlooking the park. Obviously pure speculation, but could she have come out of the flat at the wrong time. Carrying her body into the park over his shoulder, as was done does have a panic feel to it, maybe she disturbed him, was attacked, and then in panic her body hidden in the park. Obviously pure speculation, but maybe if he was engaging in that sort of crime around that area, he might have not been alone, which might explain the other arrests. JMO, and pure speculation.

Yes, a possibility. The timing around 8:30 on a Friday however seems peculiar for a burglary. Many residents coming and going, taking taxis to go out etc.

It does look clean, half of me wonders if it belongs to his mother, and she leant it to him sometimes.

I think borrowing the car is a definite possibility.

[from the article] They are particularly interested in speaking to a man described as over 5' 8" in height and wearing a dark blue jumper, grey jogging bottoms and black Nike Air Force trainers.
