This is worse than we could have ever imagined. Poor Sarah being driven 80 miles handcuffed in that car. 80 miles. I am sure she realised early on that WC had sinister intentions, she would have been terrified. What a disgusting abuse of his position of trust.

I’ve read a lot of things during my time here at WS but the image I now have in my head of Sarah in that car for hours, scared beyond belief knowing she was powerless to escape will stick with me for a long time. Sarah could be any of us, any woman walking home from her friends house. WC had all the power in this situation and he relished in it. The ultimate deceit from a person who is supposed to protect society from harm. He used his position of power to fulfil his sick desires and that IMO is unforgivable.

He deserves no mercy for admitting guilt, no mercy atall. I’m sure Sarah begged him to let her go but instead he raped her, strangled her, burnt her, stuck her in a builders bag and left her submerged

I just can’t get out my mind how terrified Sarah must have been throughout her ordeal, it wasn’t over in a matter of minutes I believe this lasted hours. And WC enjoyed every minute of it. He’s probably getting off listening to his crimes being recounted in court. He’s a very warped individual and deserves a whole life order, nothing less.

And this is why it seems so premeditated and done with intent, to me. Because during an 80 mikes journey there was plenty of time for him to realise what he was doing and have second thoughts and be normal. But he didn’t care. He wanted to do it. Although I guess once she was kidnapped in that way he’d know he’d have to silence her. MOO

I found the family statements moving but also surprising that they spoke to him directly. I don’t think I would even want to look at him at all and have the memory of his face. Maybe they had advice about achieving closure by doing this or something. It was brave but surprising. And my concern is he would not be moved by it and it gives him more attention if he really is a sicko. So I think it must be that they wanted to do this for their own stage of grief.

It's extremely powerful
I thought, there's no way my dad would have been strong enough to do that. But I get the feeling that's the point. They are so devastated at what happened to Sarah and that she was alone, they wanted to tell him directly, for her.

Yes, he seems more an impulsive character than a calculated planner-flashing in a big fast food chain he knows has CCTV filming him in. Doing all this knowing he will be caught on camera at key locations, renting a car in his own name, dumping human remains on his own property etc.

I get the feeling that a lot of men think flashing is a bit of a joke and not to taken seriously. I doubt that he was going to be investigated for the flashing.

I was wrong on the fridge. I'd seen the footage of the searchers near the fridge and thought that might be THE fridge, but I don't think it was because they've published the picture of the fridge now, and it doesn't look the same

How much do prostitutes charge for their company? Surely not more than a plot of woodland, a hire car, a roll of plastic covering, adhesive tape, 2 builders bags, a gardener's mesh trolley thing and a packet of pony tail bands?

I have absolutely no idea, but I imagine it would depend, on what services you wanted and the time you wished to spend with them and how many visits you made.

I imagine costs could mount up. I suspect quite a few nights he told his wife he was doing overtime when actually he spent the time doing something else.
So no overtime money earnt , instead money spent on his night activities.

That video of him in his home handcuffed while mumbling absolute rubbish is truly pathetic. He is pathetic. How on earth he thought he would get away with it (if he really did believe that) is beyond comprehension. He was so casual in everything that he did - abducted her in plain sight, used main roads, CCTV, real name and number for the rental car. The more you hear and see the angrier you get about this case.

He bought the plot of woodland in 2019. By October 2020 he had the debt management plans so from that point onwards the monthly budget would be severely constrained as per my earlier post - no more credit would be granted and would now have to live within his means and pay back the debt payment plan. With Christmas shortly afterwards (expensive for families) I reckon Jan/Feb were depressingly tight moneywise.

Interestingly purchased the hire care the day after Feb payday.

Debt management plans are worked out on affordability based on income and outgoings, it would be unlikely he could have declared "£300 a month for sex" on his outgoings and therefore would have found it more difficult to find money to use them, although apparently he did in Feb 2021.

Paying for sex can easily become an expensive habit like gambling or drugs.

Although sex can be found cheap, maybe £20 for street workers, escorts that he used can be around £100-150 per hour in the UK.

It would add up. I read that he used Adult Work for bookings and my guess is he would spend £80 to £100 minimum. Overnighters can be £1000. Someone as depraved as him, thats an expensive habit IMO.

I think it is a pretty hefty sum of money to be in debt by when he was driving an old banger around. Did he spend it on sex workers and porn

He strikes me as someone who spent money as he saw fit irrespective of his budget. He probably felt entitled to spend beyond his means. His means just needed to catch up - hence the pay dispute. Massive ego and inflated sense of self importance. Armature psychology of course but he screams narcissist.

His interrogators are absolutely doing the most amazing questioning! They're such pros in the Met. I always admire their work in other areas. They're utterly superb! Takes my breath away.
