Thought bf WAS last person she spoke to? But presumably they have not been able to obtain phone records.

This is TERRIBLE reporting and it annoys me so much. They have talked about the last time Sarah was spotted on the doorbell footage and then included a different image of her from the Sainsburys CCTV footage. In doing so they have also joined an incorrect link to the phone call she had going into Sainsb and the phone call she had on her route home. So so bad. They need to follows us

Any thoughts on why the police would continue their search in Clapham Common (Mount Pond) at 2pm today when the last known sighting is now the CCTV on Poynders Road, near the junction Cavendish Road.

What draws them back to Clapham

No, that was just the heading.

My interest was more in that the last doorbell footage showed her on phone, but not able yo ascertain whether on phone to bf. Another call straight after to someone might cast a whole different light on things.

Since they've misattributed the earlier photo, which shows Sarah on the phone, it seems possible the comment about the later image also capturing her on the phone is incorrect too.

Hi everyone - I'm new here and wanted to add my perspective.

I am a South Londoner and have racked up many hundreds of miles during lockdown. I've walked that route repeatedly most weeks and more recently towards the end of February. As we can all see via the TFL CCTV cameras, there is only 3 cameras of interest. (1) along battersea rise/clapham common (2) clapham south station (3) poynder's parade.

As an avid walker and a female in her late 20s, I wanted to share a few unanswered questions I have surrounding the case:

- How does an attacker know, if wearing headphones, that you're not on the phone to somebody?
- How does an attacker know, that you're not very close to your home, albeit at home your home already?
- There's no confirmed knowledge (apart from the Times article) that she lived alone or with housemates
- Was she at work during the day?
- For her friend, the location where SE left, did she try to contact S to see if she made it home okay?

I have been thinking about this since I first heard about it and I just hope that Sarah arrives home unscathed soon. This is truly a devastating story and I hope for the thousands of women, who like me, walk alone in the city they love, don't start to feel scared.

Hi - joined to post on this thread (as I am very local) and hoping I do not make too many faux pas.

If you're walking from Clapham Common onto the A205, then you will be on the left hand side of the road, because that is the layout of the pedestrian crossing over the A24.

(A pedestrian would be on the left hand side of the A205 when crossing the edge of the Common, because not all of the right hand side has pavement)

There is no option to cross from the Common directly to the right hand pavement, and as Sarah's apparent route (going by the streets of interest to the police) involves turning left, then staying in the left would be the normal thing to do. It makes no sense to cross over

Unless of course, you are worried about someone on the same side of the road as you are, in which case crossing to over see if they follow you is IMO a fairly standard manoeuvre. It would also take you further from the flats (whose huge communal bins are btw in full view from the pavement) and nearer to houses.

In regards to the headphones - When she enters the shop on CCTV she appears to be holding the phone to her ear - So perhaps she prefers to have her phone to her face?

Someone local to the area on Twitter has posted videos of Poynders Road being searched by police today. So far they've searched Clapham Common, Tooting Common, Agnes Riley Gardens and Poynders Parade.

The Met have also confirmed that the hat they found does not belong to Sarah and has nothing to do with the case.

Ditto, the only thing is I can think of her turning back that way would be if she forgot her keys to her house (she supposedly lives alone) and went back to her friends house but if this was the case she likely would have returned to that property through the front on Leathwaite road (She left through the back onto Clapham Common). Although, I think it's more likely if she forgot her keys that she would have gone to her partners place.

Ditto, the only thing is I can think of her turning back that way would be if she forgot her keys to her house (she supposedly lives alone) and went back to her friends house but if this was the case she likely would have returned to that property through the front on Leathwaite road (She left through the back onto Clapham Common). If I was in that situation I'd call the friend and ask if the keys are there before I set off on the trek back to hers?

If the reports of Sarah being on the phone on the door bell cctv are true and also that her phone had powered off , I wonder if she was pretending to be on the phone because she was being followed .

I assumed the photo of her entering the shop she is adjusting her face mask before entering the shop although I may be wrong!

It was way back on one of the very first threads, I recall, but I don't have the post. I recall it was with a CCTV snap where you could make out two different people near the bus stop in the dark

I’m aware of the CCTV images from the Kings Ave traffic cam on the evening of the third, I was one of those posting about this couple seemingly with bag and dog. My question was more in relation to your assertion that LE had appealed to them and spoken to them, and whether you could kindly point me towards where you read that, unless I’m getting the wrong end of the stick with what you meant!
