Agreed

Says 2019? Garage closed 2015.

Hmm - looking at the article again, it is dated 2015 - but in the body of the article says Stepmother began working there in 2000 until it closed. Article is also showing as updated on 10th March 2021. I believe it was someone one here said it closed 2019 (maybe someone with local knowledge?) but that doesn't tally with Stepmother starting to work there in 2000 until it closed (whenever that was).

Reading it again, it says the garage did bodywork for a particular car hire company (but in the 1970s - unsure if that continued).

As the "stones " photo was from 2018 it would seem (supposition) that this was not long before, or in preoaration for, the premises closed MOO.

No
Does anyone know whether SE had flatmates? I've not seen it mentioned (though struggling to keep up) but if she did, presumably they'd have noticed her coming home. I don't think the police would have centred the search (and search efforts of her loved ones) around Poynders Court & surrounds if they knew she had got all the way home. JMO.

She lived alone

Isn’t the point likely to have been to remove his traces of DNA rather than make the body hard to identify?

DNA in assault cases is not going to be all on the outside of the body, which I'm sure a policeman would realise, so again, I'm tending to think he didn't do something to the body to obscure visual ID. Like another poster said, I think any damage to her was something violent as part of the assault. Horrible to think about and with the tweet from a journalist today about the court details being distressing, it could fit IMO.

Hey everyone, I've done a detailed Timeline for the case, which is fully sourced with media links. It can be updated as we go forward.

I'll be asking a mod to pin it to the first post in every thread so that it's easily accessible.

Please let me know if I've missed out anything major, as long as it is fact based and can be sourced (I've had to stop reading the past couple of threads to get it done, but I've been following the media updates). Please also let me know if you spot any mistakes so that I can correct them.

It's a non-discussion thread to keep it to timeline only.

UK - Sarah Everard, 33, London, Clapham, 3rd Mar 2021 - TIMELINE *NO DISCUSSION*

Thanks T

It's getting hard to keep all the detail straight!

That guy was caught and jailed.

Also his face shape is significantly different to WC's - sharper chin, different cheekbones, etc. Same area, around the same time, but not the one.

Yep...I’m guessing because a heap of people are viewing this thread...it happens when we get really busy on here :-(

YES! I think there’s a lot of site traffic atm across the pond for the George Floyd trial.

Could she have got in the car and quickly realised he was not what he seemed and ran out, he opens his door to run after her, hence both doors open?

I thought something similar. Complete speculation of course.

Anyone follow Aleesha McPhail case? We all knew horrible things had happened but my god when he confessed and a report came out some fellow sleuthers had to step away from the forum for a while. That tweet earlier from court about the details being so bad...l have a horrible feeling this is so much worse than anything we can imagine.

? His DNA would be on the outside or inside of her body, especially in the situation of a sexual assault and/or struggle, hence many perps burn or similar to destroy their own DNA. Also means hard to charge for sexual assault ... MOO

JMO MOO:
- WC puts on his hazard lights and pretends his car has broken down
- WC asks SE to borrow her phone to make a phone call to AA
- WC shows SE his warrant card to gain her trust, and tells her he'll give her a lift home
- SE trust WC and gets into the passenger side after giving WC her phone
- WC incapacitates her once inside the vehicle

After this I'm not sure.

Why would she accept a lift home from someone with a broken down vehicle when she was nearly there? She'd have to wait with him until recovery came and then hope they could start it immediately.

Sorry, don't mean to be rude but that would make no sense.

She may have lent him her phone to make the call and then things escalated from there, but I don't see any scenario relating to breakdown that would make her get in his car of her own accord.

I thing the hazards are simply because he is in a busy area where cars shouldn't be parked. It sounds odd, but he is more likely to draw attention to plain old parked car than he is with hazards. People stop all over London where they shouldn't to just pop into a shop or something and use their hazards.

I'm new here (hello!) and have read all of these threads – very much hoping at first that Sarah would be found. Like all of us I am saddened and horrified to my core at this case and my thoughts are very much with Sarah's loved ones.

Wanted to chip in now on the reported timeline on his work patterns and I agree when others have said that today's report on this from the court will be the most accurate.

I'm a journalist (although I have to add that news and crime are very much NOT my beat) and think it's important to look very closely at the wording of previous reports in MSM. Anything that says "it is claimed" can't be taken as absolute fact without verifying the source. By using a few careful phrases such as 'it is believed' you can publish A LOT and head it up as news.

I'm not trying to discredit the journos involved of course, but I do know some people who have worked at some of the MSM quoted and the pressure they are put under to publish at pace and offer their hungry audience something new, can't be understated.

It is easy to imagine that the reporters are there on the front line, piecing together the story with their investigative intel but that's not how it is (rather stressed young cubs writing from their bedrooms right now). And what is released by the police is so very limited (quite rightly), so they have to beef up their story however they can. They have to be seen to be keeping up with the fast-moving case even though they have nothing new technically to report. It's very much get the story up and check later – if at all if the story moves on quickly and by that point everyone has absorbed those things as fact.

Of course juicy leaks happen but it's interesting to watch the facts that Sky news and BBC are pressing publish on compared to other more – chose your adjective here! – media sources. Sad but true. Sorry, I know I'm probably stating the obvious but some parts of the MSM gets way more credit than it should. Tbh you guys probably do more comprehensive fact checking IMO.

hey have 2 kids. She would have to have sorted childcare for them, which is no mean feat right now. Assuming they were at home and given the time, yes.
I don't think anyone planted anything. MOO.

The forensics at Poynders I believe is due to the CCTV showing the white car, hazards on and doors open in this area.
Of course, we knew nothing about the white car or CCTV viewed at this point, so it made no sense, but they knew something we didn't.
Hello

I’ve been a member for some years when I joined when there was a local (to me) case - the murder of a midwife Samantha Eastwood.

Ive been following the threads as, being a female of similar age to SE I find it disturbing, shocking and tragic that this has happened (as I appreciate those who aren’t female or of her age!)

I hope she is now at peace and free to walk without fear of being attacked and murdered and I’m thinking very much of her family at this sad time.

A few things that strike me and are all MOO:

The greyed out CCTV both at 9:30pm and strategically then thereafter at certain times (I don’t recall times specifically and it’s some threads back but one poster had listed a few that seemed to leak into the days AFTER the disappearance of SE - could this have been video evidence of WC or even EC returning to the Clapham area?

Could the search earlier in the week been from CCTV that came to light during investigation that the prompted their surveillance? Did they return to the scene to plant or remove evidence.

The hat for me was immediately suspicious. Not because I thought it WAS indeed SE’s but that it wasn’t but had been planted there. Was this EC (purely speculation/MOO)? And is this the reason for her subsequent arrest on suspicion of assisting an offender?

Did he/she return to Poynders court to dump her mobile in a drain/bin?

This would tie in with the theory that he might believe or have experience from his role that mispers have a pattern of going unresolved (particularly it seems within this locality) and that by leaving traces she simply ‘vanished’ wouldn’t lead to him.

Did EC do this on his behalf whilst he disposed of the body in Kent?

I do not want to over estimate ECs involvement in this, as of course, she may well be innocent and has a right to a fair trial as anybody. I just couldn’t get the hat and presence at Poynders Court/forensics.

The other thing that strikes me is the location - but for the Ring cam and Bus he has picked an area which isn’t covered by CCTV - was this intentional or coincidence? Has he scoped out the area for this purpose?

Just musings and MOO of course.[/QUOTE

Me too, sometimes the facts coming out at trial can be horrific. I’ve heard of some theories that are so grim I can’t bring myself to repeat them, especially publicly, I really hope that Sarah didn’t spend long terrified.

Not convinced at the RAC bit, she is an extremely intelligent woman, she would surely wonder why he could not use his police radio to call for assistance if his car had broken down

I dont think she would fall for this

No fitted radio in the car as it was a rental and perhaps he leaves his personal radio at work with his firearm.
