I’m unsure if this has any relevance, and I am not from the local area, but I can’t help but notice the locations of interest (including the recent one in Sandwich), are all extremely close to that railway line.

Do we know if WC used that line at all?

EDIT: disregard this. Wrong garage!
EDIT2: replaced with the correct map! It’s actually 9km away from WC home

To give some perspective on new developments to none locals .. this is 1.2km away from WC home address

I really hope they've found her possessions and nothing more..

This is quite shocking! I know some of us suspected there may be more victims but the fact they have openly stated it’s related to her investigation and they have her remains, does that mean they have found someone else?

I think it is more likely to be something connected to Sarah.

They are still looking for her phone for definite.

They may also be looking for a murder weapon if there's evidence on her body one was used.

Edit to add: maybe her phone?

I hope its just that they've found some of her possessions. But they may have said they found her "remains" initially for a reason.

I wonder if he’s tried to discard evidence. Although odd to do it so close to home when he’s been driving significantly further away

Must be a shock for the people who live around these places having masses of police operations keep turning up.. I hope they find the phone and whatever other evidence is needed to ensure justice for Sarah xx

I thought that, but it could be her phone or some other 'trophy' he planned on coming back for later?

You'd think he would be aware that minimising the amount of locations involved was in his interests.

Not sure this quite correct. Looks like ~6-7 miles to The Ropewalk in Sandwich?

“A new search focussing on a waterside path and recycling bin has been opened by police investigating the death of Sarah Everard”

Kinda implies something has been found in the bin?
Also wondering what flavour of “specialist teams” are attending this new scene. As it’s by a river I’d speculate water recovery specialists.

River and recycling bin cordoned off in Sarah Everard search

If a recycling bin has been cordoned off, maybe they are looking for her clothes.
For those not in the UK, we tend to have home collections of general waste, and certain recyclables, but clothes are often donated to charity via specific 'bins', which are really just collection pods for things.

I absolutely do not want to get this thread closed with my first post!! But there is local news of an interesting development 3 minutes from WC home related to police investigations. It’s posted about on an official government council Facebook page. Mods @CocoChanel is this okay to share a link to / screenshot of here?

Thanks for checking Audiohoney. As it's an official government agency, a direct link to the page is allowed.

Ah @Rovers88 beat me to it! It’s already in the press I see. So I’m hoping this is therefore okay to share.

Please delete if it isn’t!

If they have closed the area and needing experts could it be something like chemicals.?
