P
I agree with you on this topic.
There are so many people who confuse mental illness & sadistic psychopathy/sociopathy & NPD.
Mental illness is treatable.
Criminal Psychopathy/sociopathy or rather ASPD & narcissistic personality disorder are not treatable.
JMO MOO IMHO
Psychopathy is a mental disorder. I don’t know why we should shy away from suggesting someone who is a criminal has a mental disorder. They most likely have. It does not excuse their actions.

He's been charged which is excellent news.

Sarah Everard: Met Police officer charged with murder

What happens now though? I guess MSM will go silent?

Can we continue to discuss here? I assume not and I'd not want to do anything to give this utter monster a way to get away with this.

I'm guessing if he has been charged then things are going to go quiet on the reporting front until a court hearing is announced and evidence is provided (if he pleads innocent)

Tomorrow will just be a plea hearing right?

He wont enter a plea tomorrow, at most he will confirm name ect. Case will be sent to crown as it can't be heard at magistrates.

Can anyone tell me the countdown in hours before they have to either charge WC or release WC?

100% agree- he’s clearly not of sound or normal mind is he?!

She may have been approached and abducted as soon as she finished her phone call. I think it's more likely he quickly subdued her, forced her into the car, and powered the phone down himself.

I agree with this – WC on foot from Underground station to where his car was parked, happened to be behind SE on foot and overheard her call. Knew from this she wouldn't be reported missing immediately as she was going back to her own flat on her own and only had plans the following evening. Seized his chance after she ended the call, overpowered her near his car, turned off the phone himself.

Yes!! All those good Met officers and CPS staff working around the clock to get to charging threshold. One step closer to some answers for Sarah's family and friends. One step closer to justice (I hope).

Police have 24 hours, after that they can ask for extensions up to a max of 96 hours. Terrorism offences have longer.

He has now been charged.

I wonder about that. When people are walking along a relatively empty street talking on the phone it can be quite easy to hear them if they're close. Anyway, just speculation.

Jotting this down while I think of it, there are a few things I’d like to know about WC (well yeah there’s a lot lol, but in particular):

1. His job was in London, his home is in Kent. It’s not a horrendous commute but due to his role would he have worked unsociable hours? If so would he be expected to drive home after a long/late shift?

2. Depending on the above, did he have somewhere to stay in London?

3. if he did have to stay away from home sometimes how did he fill his time?

4. he’s one of those men who, IMO, has gotten “better looking” as he’s got older (yes, I shuddered typing that).

Based on all the above, was he always totally faithful to his wife? If he was away from home at times did he fill that time “unfaithfully”? By that I mean dating apps/chat sites etc. I can see him bigging up his job etc to appear mysterious/more attractive.

I’d also really like to know if there was any previous contact between him and poor Sarah.

Fairly sure all this will come out in due course, just thought I’d share a few things niggling at me.

1. It’s a pretty normal commute.
2. Discussed at length and seems unlikely but no source to confirm either way.
3. Unlikely he stayed away
4. ?
5. Who knows the inner workings of anyone’s marriage?
MSM reports that he and SE did not know each other.

I 1000% think they will send him to a secure hospital!
The prisons don't have resources to watch him 247.
I really hope I am wrong and he is sent to a normal hard prison
Bashing his head twice because he has been found out the scum bag!

Sexual deviants are very dangerous indeed. Look at how dangerous PR was and how his sexual deviancy escalated to murdering Libby Squire.

Sexual deviants cannot control their urges, and the factors in their life at a given time can decide how far they go. Indecent Exposure one day might become murder the next day if say an argument has taken place, or his urge for sexual gratification has built up to a point where he is going to take what he wants, whether he harms someone in the process or not. Sexual deviants often view women as objects rather than human beings, they are disposable to them and only good for one thing.

They are able to lead double lives and usually claim to have never considered harming their partner because they actually know them as a person and are usually unable to become aroused without some kind of Paraphilia involved. Which is why they hunt at night for unwilling victims. They want someone who is genuinely terrified to taunt and attack. They want to feel powerful and in control. For them even if their partner was willing to perform certain acts, roleplay consensual non consent etc eventually it will not be enough because they need an actual victim who is unsuspecting and unwilling.

It’s all about their sexual gratification, the element of having a woman completely powerless and honestly afraid for her life is what thrills these men and once they graduate from flashing in McDonald’s to physically attacking women there’s often no going back. All MOO.

Thank you, @Blondiexoxo, for this informative, albeit completely chilling description of a sexual deviant.

I have three questions:

- From your Forensic Psychology studies, are you able to tell us if there is any effective treatment for those with this horrendous propensity?

- And if there is, how common, or rare, in your estimation, is it for an individual to seek treatment from fear of potentially performing illegal paraphilia acts?

- Is there a percentage calculation for how many in the general population are diagnosed as exhibiting illegal paraphilic behaviours?

Police officer charged with murder of Sarah Everard

Published: Less than an hour agoLast Updated: Less than an hour ago

A Metropolitan Police officer has been charged with the murder of 33-year-old Sarah Everard.

Serving police constable Wayne Couzens was charged on Friday evening with kidnapping and killing the marketing executive, who went missing while walking home from a friend’s flat in south London on March 3.

He is due to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Saturday.

100% this. WC happened to be behind her, overheard the conversation with her BF and knew she had no plans that evening and the next day, therefore if she was abducted the alarm wouldn't be raised until well into the next day, which is unfortunately what actually happened.
