The fact of an abduction charge indicates the theory that she was in fact abducted (i.e alive), to some other location where she was then later murdered. Presumably the prosecution have evidence of where that place was.
.

but she could have been killed in the car immediately after being abducted- I don’t see how this means she was alive for some time? Or am I not getting it?

Does anyone know what is procedure if someone in custody repeatedly damages the self in their cell?, where is the limit?, when would he get assessed by mental health, can they be restrained in any way-(is this even a thing?) to prevent them harming etc?

WC had no way of knowing if Sarah lived alone or would be missed IMO

You can put together a lot of information from a phone call IMO – it's clear when someone is talking to their SO on the phone and if SE is talking about their plans the following day, WC knows that she won't see him that evening and, even if she does live with flatmates/other people, they would just assume she is with her BF. MOO

A Scotland Yard spokesman told the @Daily_Express: “The suspect was taken to hospital for treatment to a head injury sustained while in custody in a cell on Friday, 12 March.
He was being monitored by officers and received immediate first aid.
He was discharged the same day.”

Are we sure? Video was clearly daytime, yet only tweeted 34 minutes ago and no news outlets have reported it?

ETA: I mean this guy must be on 24 hr suicide watch surely. The met really need to do this thing by the book it already looks bad enough.

He wont enter a plea tomorrow, at most he will confirm name ect. Case will be sent to crown as it can't be heard at magistrates.

I dont see the point of discussing how much she had to drink and whether she was tipsy sounds very much like victim blaming to me

Where is the link please to this alkeged second attempt? TOS

Link please -- not finding this account of second-time injury!

So this guy wins with EXCLUSIVE - to my knowledge, no other source reporting this (i.e., reader beware):

Michael Knowles@Express_Knowles

EXCLUSIVE: Wayne Couzens, the suspect in the Sarah Everard murder probe, was rushed to hospital for the second time in three days with a head injury sustained in custody today.

So is it the inital head injury that has deteriorated or a new one?

Interesting - so this means she survived for some time.

Possibly this is what they have been working on. Where was she murdered?

(Also the ID obviously)
The kidnapping charge may just mean he took her against her will. I don't think it necessarily points to him holding her for a specific length of time.

it's pointless commenting on this topic, because we don't know if that was it or if she was downing shots at her friend's house. It probably doesn't really matter.

Liking this wasn't enough - YES! (I have also had a few glasses of wine now)

As they have charged him with regards to SE, I assume this means they can no longer question him about it directly. If they suspect there are other victims, can they continue to question him about those?

If I’m not mistaken - they can no longer question him regarding the crimes he has been charged for (kidnap and murder of SE). However, if further evidence came to light that implicated him in other crimes (e.g. other missing person enquiries, sexual assaults, IE etc) they could then question him on them as they are separate incidents/crimes.

The fact of an abduction charge indicates the theory that she was in fact abducted (i.e alive), to some other location where she was then later murdered. Presumably the prosecution have evidence of where that place was.

So this rules out theories of an assault in clapham gone wrong, leading to him removing a body.

I think abduction is simply that she wasn’t attacked and died where she was. If not then you would clearly charge for abduction as her body was found elsewhere.

Your not going to charge any body related charges as you would need evidence she died where she was attacked and moved later which appears impossible here

And when? Surely his wife noticed he was missing for a considerable amount of hours. If she is bailed you would assume she isn’t suspected to know much about it? And definitely didn’t help.[/QUOTE

With his line of work he could easily say something happened & he had to stay on later or was told to cover another venue etc etc

Unless he did know her. He may have stalked her for days, weeks, months, years? A lot of assumptions.

Does it actually mean that? You could be kidnapped for a matter of minutes your still kidnapped.

It’s probably just a charge because they have evidence she was.

It doesn’t add much I don’t think as not an aggregating factor in law

This is correct. In England and Wales, the definition of kidnapping in a legal sense involves the unlawful and intentional or reckless detention of a victim against their will. It does not mean she was alive for hours or days etc. I would be stunned if that was the case in this situation. I sadly feel she was deceased before the alarm was even raised about her disappearance.

Leopard, yes they can be restrained to prevent self harm.

They can be put in a 'soft cell' in which they can't hurt themselves/headbutt walls.

Been lurking for a few days but only just posting now.

Some of the comments above have discussed a "crazy long commute" into London being a drive of 2 hours.

As someone who lives close to London and works in central, a commute of 1.5 to 2hrs each way is actually pretty standard for a lot of people, especially anyone ranging from the east coast of Kent to Southampton or Swindon to the west...

I very much doubt he would have had a rented flat in London to reduce the commute a little... but the rented car parking spaces sounds very plausible.

You can sleuth - just take it to DMs

Cheers. What are DM's please? :) My own initial interest in the family history was in case of dark criminal secrets.
