I'm just trying to think - I don't know which law referred but in the case of Emile Cilliers there were reporting restrictions in regards to identifying the children, but then he was charged with endangering the children. (which reminds me - I don't think we did hear what the verdict was on that charge?) and Sophie Lionnet, I think there was an order in place for both the children but only one had witnessed the bathroom incident, and Ellie Butler's sister was protected by an order - she was interviewed by police but I don't think the videos were used as witness evidence in the trial. It might just be standard procedure to protect the identities of all children in the house, being that they are deemed to be victims?
I suppose they are all witnesses to their father not reporting her missing the first day and it could be what he might have said about mummy not being there.
