What do y'all think happened to his shoes????? Full of mud, irreparably?? Surely not blood, since none was found anywhere???

I'd say they got covered in mud when he was burying her. His car was a total mess so likely his shoes would have been too. He would have looked like a Glastonbury casualty,

Phhheewwww-well! I've spent the entire day catching up here!

I'm REALLY up and down with my thoughts on this ... on one hand, there's no body and the police didn't get to see his google search for 'how to murder my estranged wife and get away with it' and 'what trousers go with grey winkle pickers' as he evaded giving them the phones! So ... one might think that some planning had gone into this - no loud arguments, no signs of a struggle, no blood found at the home (I think we would've heard by now if there was) ... just a wet bed and a missing Sarah.

I'd be interested to know, if ... like me, she kept a drink next to her bed at night, that might've got spilled in a struggle?

I can't see how, any bodily fluids - blood/urine/vomit etc could've been on the bed and cleaned off by Nerf Boy Benny adequately enough to remove forensic evidence ... even washing machines leave behind traces.

Thinking about it as I write actually ... I think, I'm erring on the side of pre-planned. I was trying to think of the things that point to spur of the moment and... I'm struggling.

@Alyce I think it was you? Who commented way back about Neil's 'are you alive' text? I had to laugh because it's something I message to my middle daughter A LOT! I just searched our fb messenger chat and between 2013 and now I've asked 'are you alive?' Or exclaimed 'oh you are alive then!' 84 times! and that's not including regular texts or other apps

The media coverage of the case has ummed and ahhd and yet, to date, the most condemning comment or quote on the potential evil here , using Biblical vocabulary and smite, was about the 'Diabolical Shoes...'

:)

I have perused this comment over and over and can't help but think im being smited for my "Christ on a bike" comment. I realise this is a very serious case and may have brought down the tone unintentionally!
I always leave serious comment so apologies if i have offended.

I agree with all this ....i think he thought of plenty of excuses and reasoning but added them all when he got scared (didnt he even speak of oil riggers at one point) Truth between lies aswell just like the alesha mcphail case which i saw alot of sleuthers on here follow)

Im worried reasonable doubt will come in over the whole tinder fling thing which is clear. Im not judging at all but many ppl will as the witness testimony is given.

I don't want to speak for SVS, but I don't think that is what s/he meant (there's a smiley), it was directed at the media coverage.

I thought your comment was amusing, please carry on posting however you like.

I honestly don't think you've offended anybody.

I'm not worried ...

The Tinder guys were enjoying Sarah's company, not killing her. That was clear ... and I think that was probably in part the reason she's dead, Ben was jealous. Jealous that other men were 'getting' what he couldn't any more and jealous that Sarah was happy happy without him and about to be even happier in a new job and one that meant she could finally be rid of him for good. He was losing what little bit of control over her that he had ...

I also found the comment amusing but certainly not disrespectful. Sometimes a little light hearted humour is needed in threads like this. l certainly didn't take it to mean you were detracting from the seriousness of the case.

:D

Not at all Blue!!!

Im with the other poster's comments on the Bike. Was talking about the tabloid press and their hypocritical morality, which is almost Biblical in its tone at times. :)

I also appreciated @Legally Bland being aware of the zeitgeist of Non-determinist Gender wishes. ;)
