Which is just what someone with fibromyalgia would be doing - when she's not digging up the very small patch of lawn out front of the house

i question how bad this is - she use to be quite active around the nerf war stuff that BL did and my kids went to

also - i dont understand why someone who is supposedly intelligent would think that 'throwing the phones in the river' would make him look less guilty them some hastily written text message drafts and few 🤬🤬🤬🤬 sites. That is crazy - surely that is destroying evidence

RSBM.

Oh come on. He's now got his mum 2 storeys up a ladder clearing the gutter to explain away a wet jumper.
He didn’t say his mum was up ladders, no need to twist his quotes.

Hi Sleuths! I’m also local (within the search radius) and helped out on searches. I’ve been following avidly and love this site!
It’s the poor kids I feel sorry for and I don’t know why, but NJ makes me slightly uneasy too.
Could be all the media stuff of him saying “our Sarah” this and that, when we know their relationship hadn’t been all that.
Evidence is certainly stacked against BL though. Cross examination will be interesting if he’s the “panicky” type....

British humour ... it's one of the things I love about my fellow UK Brits. Legally was being sarcastic that's all.

Welcome welcome welcome :)

To those that know Ben personally or have an opinion ... is he an anxious type? He certainly seems to be playing it that way ... though not making him look less guilty in my book!

His constant 'mum was there/heard/saw' etc comments are interesting. Is he her golden boy? Would she lie for him? Cover up a ... incident?

He literally can't do a anything without that woman.

Ok, it's an exaggeration, but this is text book explaining away the evidence no matter how unlikely his explanation is. It's basically boiling down to 3 themes:

  • Ask my Mum.
  • My father was accused of sexual assault.
  • My solicitor told me not to answer police questions even though I could easily explain.
He's been on remand since December, but thought it would be better to wait till trial to put his case across.

BL might be intelligent but he clearly thinks everyone else is stupid. ;)

I hope the new members quickly get used to our weary, cynical take on evidence and justice :)

It's good to see and hear diff input and opinion. Hope we're not too scary :)

Hitthenick is even drier than your average poster LB :) ;)

ML surely must be a witness for the defence - boy are they going to grill her. A lot of his testimony relies on her. That’s a big ask for any Mother

Have you seen the cctv footage of the early morning car journey that the Prosecution ,and most people, are sure is BL's vehicle, @hitthenick ?

Any possible way that it isnt that car iyo?

BL would crumble like an old woman's hips under strong cross examination
