He may be sleeping rough? What ? I have not noticed his last name so I guess there is a thing with that?
Also they ask for anyone to call in for anyone who matches his description? That sounds way broad and I think these poor reports are why his case might not be spreading very quick. IMO.. So we are looking for a short, skinny ,guy with a neck tat and brown hair who is sleeping rough.

Ita.
Did he have any cognitive mental issues ?
Did he work anywhere and if so what do his coworkers know about him ?
Family/siblings/parents ?
Was there any relationship issues like a recent breakup, etc. ?
Hope he's ok and found safely !

I think his surname is James. It was given on the Vanished programme (see above).

Are you not in UK? It has been a thing here for a few years where some forces don't give surnames so as to protect identity. It is a bit arbitrary as some do, some don't, and some start off with just a first name and then add the surname as time goes on.

The description appeals are not always the best, I agree, though it may be because they don't initially have a lot to go on.

I am not in the UK. I did suspect that the lack of the surname was something to do Victim laws. I know it was not mentioned on purpose. So ..This case might be something different ,All the info collectively seems ..different.

We have called off the search for missing person Shaun, who was last seen in Stoke-on-Trent on Saturday 18 March.

Sadly, the body of a man was found in an area off Garner Street in Etruria yesterday afternoon (20 April).

Formal identification will take place in due course.

His family have been informed and our thoughts are with them at this difficult time.

We would like to thank colleagues, partner agencies and the public for their assistance and support during the search.

At this time the death is being treated as unexplained. Enquiries are continuing and a report will be prepared for HM Coroner.
