Breaking on Italian media …

Giovane cagliaritana scomparsa a Londra | L'appello della famiglia

(See translation below)

Susanna-Porcu-1.jpeg

29-year old Susanna Porcu has not been heard from since 19 June. Originally from Cagliari, Susanna has gone missing from London where she has been living and working as a barista for a few years.

The alarm was raised by the TV programme ‘Chi l’ha visto’, which describes Susanna as 1.48m tall, with brown eyes and black hair. She has a visible mole on her right eyelid and various tattoos: a rose on her right forearm, a heart in the hollow between her left hand index finger and thumb, a butterfly on her left breast, a blue and green garter on her left thigh.

Her mother, whom Susanna keeps always in touch with, said she last heard from her on 14 or 15 June. After that, communication stopped. Her mobile phone is turned off and the messages sent to her on Messenger do not receive any response.

According to reports, the 29-year-old was last seen on 19 June at her workplace, when she suddenly quit her job. Family members fear that something serious might have happened to her and for this they have turned to the tv programme in order to reach as many people as possible.

Nothing here via police or press. Only seen general missing posts - some on the Antonino Coppola missing page which is still live after he was found last year. I don't know if that is because there is a connection between the two? or just because another missing Italian in London?

Various articles in the Italian online press, such as the one quoted above, and FB posts from friends and family have appeared since the TV appeal on Wednesday night. Hopefully she’ll be found soon and there’ll be no need to involve UK police (though family might be in the process of doing so for all we know). ‘Chi l’ha visto’, the national TV programme and website for missing people, is the best way in Italy to report someone missing and spread an appeal quickly, at least initially.

No links to Antonino Coppola IMO, as Susanna is from Sardinia and there are thousands of Italians working in London.
