Surrey Police are appealing for help in finding Suzanne, 48, who was last seen on 29 June. She is described as vulnerable and a number of enquiries are underway to locate her and ensure she is safe and well.

She is described as white, 150-155cm tall, of average build with black and grey hair in a ponytail. She also has a number of tattoos but these are generally covered up. She was last seen wearing a Space Jam hooded top, black jeans and brown boots and was carrying a rucksack. Suzanne also has links to the Guildford area.

The photograph of Suzanne reminds me of a missing woman whose disappearance was reported on WS some time ago (perhaps 1 to 2 years ago, but it could well be longer). I cannot remember her name, but I have a feeling she was from the Surrey or Sussex area. I do not remember there being any sort of definite conclusion to the case, but it no longer appears as an outstanding case here, as far as I can see.

Surrey Police have issued an updated photo and an interesting description of how Suzanne now looks.

Suzanne, 48, who also goes by the name of Morgan Daniels, is described as White, 150-155cm tall and of average build. She is described as having black and grey hair in a ponytail, facial hair and a number of tattoos but these are generally covered up.

She was last seen wearing the clothes in this image, which are a Space Jam hooded top, black jeans and brown boots and was carrying a rucksack.

An updated appeal for Suzanne, which includes a new photograph of her, appears to have been released. The wording has all the hallmarks of being an official appeal, yet it doesn't appear on the Surrey Police web-site or Facebook page (only on non-MSM pages which I won't link to here).

Surrey Police have updated their appeal for Suzanne, adding that it is possible she may have travelled to the Edinburgh area.

Police Scotland have announced that "officers in Surrey believe Suzanne may be in the Hunters Tryst area of Edinburgh".

Strangely, there does not appear to be a corresponding statement from Surrey Police themselves about this.

Difficult to know. My guess is that she is actively avoiding being found - a gut feeling, but no more. Is squatting still a thing these days? You don't seem to hear about it so much. I can certainly imagine that she is couch-surfing.

There is a fairly large mental health hospital in Knaphill (Cygnet).
