Re BBM

It seems to me that the speaker was inciting a riot or trying to organize a revolution. That type of yelling and speaking should be against the law IMO if it is not already.

Charge could be inciting a riot or organizing a revolution or rebellion
I haven't watched the video but reading the report of the flag incident, someone reported it to the police who attended. I dont know what if anything the police did.

Here's the documentary with Butt

The Jihadist Next Door Published on Jan 20, 2016

The film followed a group of Britain's most dangerous extremists for two years, giving unprecedented access into the bubbling undercurrent of home-grown terrorism. Documentary maker Jamie Roberts even spent time with Siddhartha Dhar (aka Abu Rumaysah), the former bouncy castle salesman who is now suspected to be the second “Jihadi John”.

This was the video and documentary I watched the other day that had one of the terrorists in the documentary. Many of the speakers in the documentary were yelling and trying to get people riled up and IMO I think they could have been charged under existing laws I would guess.

I would think there should be some laws on the books that could apply.
Like trying to organize a revolution or inciting a riot or something.
If not, then we do need new laws created. Free speech is fine but when the motive is to openly go against society then it crosses the line to threats against society IMO.

Its interesting now that the video is blocked now by the source based on a copywright. Maybe the original documentary people want to be sure to keep control of it being able to be viewed.

It was a well done documentary which I am sure cost some money to produce.

I don't know why you think that. These are probably passport or old mug shot photos because they have all been shot dead now. Were you speculating they'd been beaten up or something? Perhaps I've misunderstood.

Zagba must have been a bit stupid saying that to a border official. However, not so stupid because he managed it, God knows how he got through all the borders - we must be the simple ones.IMO.

Eta just noticed photos say "composite" -what does that mean? Made up from different sources ?

Did not notice " the composite " part either till you pointed it out, thanks!
That might explain to me why the pictures seem odd somehow.
"Messed up " is probably not the right word to use, but my intention was to convey, imo, that i imagined that the eyes looked weird, creepy, drugged, other-worldly ect. not beat up, that is wishful thinking.
Still think that Z looks like he is wearing eyeliner.
All speculation, imo.

Thanks Spellbound. That does look to be the same one.
It is worth watching as it helps to see what their mentality is.

It is scary to see how they think. Very scary.

I think all politicians and law makers should be required to watch documentaries like this and maybe that would make them realize how dangerous some of these people are.

Maybe not enough people realize the seriousness of the situation.

The video might be used for LE?

"But sadly the Australian government confirmed tonight a second national was among those killed.

According to local media, the victim is understood to be Sara.

In a statement the Minister for Foreign Affairs Julie Bishop said: "The Australian Government is deeply saddened to confirm that two Australians have been killed in the London terrorist attack."

I agree and it is very worrying. A big attack like 9/11 is much easier to prevent than three guys hiring a van with sharp knifes you can buy in a home store.

I would not be surprised if we more of those type of attacks in London, Manchester, Nice, Kabul, Orlando, and Baghdad.

A 9/11 type attack is unlikely as it takes a lot of planning.

I hope you're wrong about more attacks, Hood. My son says people in London are just shrugging it off getting on with life, commuting to work. He also said people are being a bit nicer to each other, the blitz spirit he called it. He's home for a couple of days, (to vote actually).

THIRD LONDON BRIDGE JIHADI WAS STOPPED AT STANSTED AIRPORT WHEN HIS NAME FLAGGED ON EU CRIMINAL LIST BUT WAS STILL ALLOWED INTO THE COUNTRY

Daily Mail

A London Bridge killer who declared 'I'm going to be a terrorist' as he tried to travel to Syria was waved into Britain in yet another security blunder, it was revealed today.

Youssef Zaghba, 22, was briefly stopped at Stansted Airport when flying into the UK from Bologna in January this year.

The revelation will add to concerns that UK counter-terrorism officials missed a string of opportunities to thwart Saturday night's atrocity, in which seven innocents were killed.

"Police searching for a French tourist who went missing after the London Bridge terror attack have discovered his body in the River Thames.

Xavier Thomas, 45, has been named as the eighth victim killed in the atrocity at the weekend, after he was thrown into the river by the terrorists' van.

Mr Thomas, 45, was walking south on the bridge with his girlfriend Christine Delcros when a van ploughed into pedestrians, before three knife-wielding terrorists went on a stabbing spree."

So, 8 deaths and 7 of them were not British. It upsets me greatly when people come to our country and never go home.

Three French citizens, two Australians, one Canadian, one Spaniard and one Briton are known to have died. The Metropolitan police said they believed they now knew the identities of all those who were killed and there were “no outstanding or missing people”.

How horrible for all their families abroad. The frantic travelling and language barrier would make it a hugely stressful time. I'm sure their families were looked after by their embassies but it still must have been harrowing for them all.

It is a long gruelling trip from Australia to the UK at any time, it would be horrific at a time like this.
