"The London Bridge terrorists were spotted laughing and hugging as they spoke together less than a week before their knife rampage.

Khuram Butt, 27, Rachid Redouane, 30, and Youssef Zaghba, 22, met outside a Muslim gym in Barking at ten minutes past midnight on Monday, May 29.

This was five days before the trio mounted a van and knife attack on drinkers that killed eight people and injured dozens before they were shot dead by police."

It is a long gruelling trip from Australia to the UK at any time, it would be horrific at a time like this.
A trip that had to be made because the Aussie Embassy was closed until Monday. Poor parents working in a vacuum.

Really? I was living in Thailand in the Tsunami tragedy and the Embassy rang me the on the evening of Boxing Day to see if I was ok. They only had my contact details because I had to renew my passport a few months earlier.

"Now, three days since the deadly terror attacks on London Bridge, Mrs Wallace said she was told by London authorities to wait 24-hours for news of her daughter’s whereabouts.“The police in London just said give it 24-hours, because the Australian consulate was closed over the weekend, so they don’t do anything,” she said.

London Bridge officer who took on terrorists: 'I did everything I could'
The unnamed officer is in hospital with head, arm and leg injuries after he took on the attackers armed with only his baton.

Thursday 08 June 2017

A British Transport Police officer who was stabbed in the eye while tackling London Bridge terrorists has said "I did everything I could" to stop them.

The officer, who has not been named but is reported to have been with the force for under two years, suffered injuries to his head, arm and leg and is said to be "seriously unwell" in hospital.

He was one of the first officers on the scene of the attack and has been hailed a hero for taking on the three attackers armed with only his baton.

Horrific and heartbreaking.

They all worked out at a gym, yet the 3 " tough guys " simultaneously stab a defenseless, lovely young woman.

Pakistan-born Butt worked in a gym in nearby Barking, east London, and last night police were understood to be probing any links with Zaghba’s club.

Catleaps’ website showed Zaghba sitting with young gymnasts at Robert Clack school in the town - the club headquarters.
One photo showed him with three young girls above a heading: “Play, Learn & Grow Together.”

Yes, he is a hero. Prayers for his recovery.

So, 8 deaths and 7 of them were not British. It upsets me greatly when people come to our country and never go home.

Unfortunately there's a certain inevitability to that. Not only because London is a tourist city but because there are so many immigrants working there.

How do we have a Muslim only gym and why are the victims described as "drinkers" in this article? Seems like inaccuracies to me.

I see that the link I posted doesn't allow connection, sorry. C/p'd a bit of the article below from that link :

It was frequented by Khuram Butt, the Pakistan-born Londoner who, with his two accomplices, strapped on fake suicide vests and used a van, then knives, to kill eight people on London Bridge and in nearby Borough Market on Saturday night.

The gym is also linked to a man alleged to have been a leading operative in the extremist al-Muhajiroun network who helped organise a Pakistani training camp that was visited by Mohammad Sidique Khan, the ringleader of the 7/7 terrorist attack on London’s transport system in 2005. Ilford Muslims reported concerns about Islamist extremists at the gym to the UK authorities two years ago.

Such longstanding links to known or suspected terrorist sympathisers raise questions about why the gym was permitted to stay open — although it is possible that the security services that struggle to monitor some 500 active plots may prefer a risk they can monitor to one that is forced underground.

My point is that a Muslim only gym is against the law in the UK. Its discrimination. The second thing is pedestrians on London Bridge are not "drinkers". Now your link is stating this gym was on the radar anyway. This is making me angry the more I am finding out. I am so glad they were shot dead. These guys are literally getting away with murder.

Thanks for the additional info Jessie.

Khuram Butt, 27, worked at Ummah Fitness in Ilford with Sajeel Shahid, 41, a member of Anjem Choudary's al-Muhajiroun network who was accused of helping train the 7/7 bomb ringleader Mohammed Siddique Khan.
Yet Butt was deemed a 'low priority' by police and MI5 despite his links to Choudary, Europe's most notorious hate preacher.
The father-of-two, 27, was probed two years before his murderous rampage but officials downgraded the investigation because they did not suspect he was planning an attack.

This is so frightening because these guys had regular jobs, families, educations, and lived a middle class English life. They 'taught' children, had friends and co-workers---lived a regular daily life.

And yet they could plan out a vicious deadly attack like this, seemingly laughing about it....

So it does not seem to be about them being 'victims' and not being allowed to assimilate or be accepted into society. They seemed to have been living pretty well and could have continued just fine if they wanted to.

It does seem to be based upon radical ideology more than victimization...just my opinion...
