A FRESH appeal has been made for help in finding a man who went missing in the Holyhead area nearly five years ago.

Today is the birthday of Anthony Haigh, who was reported missing on February 23, 2018.

Despite numerous enquiries and searches in the Holyhead area following his disappearance, sadly, he has never been found by police.

Chief inspector Gethin Jones said: “My thoughts are with Anthony’s family today on his birthday. Sadly, they have no closure as to what happened to him.

“I am renewing our appeal to urge anyone who saw Anthony in the lead up to his disappearance to please come forward with any information which might help us to find out what happened.”

Here's a link to a recent documentary about Tony and Caitrin Maguire ( also missing from the same area.) It's in Welsh with subtitles available.

The above programme is now no longer on Iplayer.
A new podcast series called The Unsolved Podcast has covered Caitrin's case
