Can't wait to see what the jury will find. Strange news indeed that he was found upright, waist deep in the mud. I wonder if they can tell if he died there (or not) by differences in decomp of the body above and below the mud level. Maybe he was buried there a day or so later (fixed in a sitting position by rigor mortis) and the action of the water washed away the surface mud. I wish there was better reporting of the details. Maybe they set it up purposely to make it look as if he died there while working. A cup but no flask? And would he have walked there if he was going to do some work? Was his body on his home side of the river, or on the opposite bank I wonder.

It's been a long and tedious wait for this trial to finish.

Oh wow,

  • #308
I hope there's enough for the jury to convict.

  • #309
I hope so too. Hope for a quick conviction this has dragged on way too long

Ha, I just came on to say that - here's hoping they've heard plenty of good evidence ( all the stuff we haven't heard ) and there's justice for Bill.

I think this has been the worst trial I have ever followed ( or tried to follow ) on WS, in terms of lack of information.

This is becoming ridiculous. After eight weeks I wonder if the jury will be so fed up with the delays that they will reach a quick decision

It must be so frustrating for them. In fact I am surprised that they have survived this long with 12 jurors and not had one or more have to step down.
