Found Deceased UK - William "Bill" Taylor, 70, Gosmore, Hertfordshire, 3 June 2018

It would be nice if she had to forfeit the farms he gave her as well. I don't think any of the children are still minors and they would probably benefit under his will anyway.

I would hope, being as it was his money that provided the farms, not hers - that there is a case for the farms to revert back to Bill's estate to ensure she ( and her family ) do not profit from them in any way.
Hopefully, RT and his family will inherit.

Video of their police interviews in this article. Great point the officer makes when she points out to Cannon that their messages about harming Bill stopped on the day he disappeared.

Wife and lover sentenced to life in prison for murdering Gosmore farmer William Taylor

Angela deceitfully persuaded William to allow Cannon to live in his house, where Cannon secretly recorded conversations in which William spoke about her and her children.

In early 2018, William discovered the affair and the fact that Cannon had been recording conversations. He ceased contact with Angela, but then wrote her a love letter expressing his hope they could resume their relationship.

Judge Kay said: "Her response was duplicitous and calculating. It was not motivated by affection for William Taylor but insatiable greed.

"She said she would return to live with William Taylor if he signed over half his property to her. This was despite him having signed over property worth well in excess of £1,000,000 when they separated in 2015.

[...]

His body was found eight months later on February 10, 2019, in the River Hiz in Charlton, just outside Hitchin - on land owned by Angela Taylor.

Paul Cannon deleted the WhatsApp messages from his phone in an attempt to conceal them from police, while Angela Taylor claimed her phone had disappeared.

I also seem to recall that only Richard and his daughter were making social media appeals to find Bill. Despite it being Bill's 70th birthday and Fathers Day very close to his disappearance.

From the link above......

Angela Taylor claiming she wanted to "make love in the blood of their victims".

I wonder if that's a typo or if they had thoughts of killing another member of Bill's family as well

It wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if she'd contemplated getting rid of RT as well.

Pity we couldn't have heard alot of this during the trial

UK cases, as we know, don't always receive great coverage, but this one has been, for me, the worst in terms of reporting.

Snipped from Tortoise post above...

His body was found eight months later on February 10, 2019, in the River Hiz in Charlton, just outside Hitchin - on land owned by Angela Taylor.

So that land access restriction she applied for, after the murder, does seem to be linked.

I'd have liked to have heard examples of them talking about Bill in the past tense. Not because I doubt their guilt but because that's the kind of detail that interests me. The reporting has been dreadful and I expected so much more from the Comet with them being local and reliable with updates during the searches.

She probably panicked. I wonder if that was brought up during the trial.

I'm just looking at this, she almost owned the whole village.

Is grave digger a euphemism for murderer or is he really a grave digger?

I love the term "caged" !
He was previously described as a digger driver and digger drivers do dig graves some of the time. Anyway he won't be doing it anymore. :-)
