GUILTY UK - Woman (31) badly injured, and burned & girl (13) burned, in a revenge attack in their home by several men, Stoke-onTrent, 16 December 2021

A 31-year- old woman was very badly injured, and set on fire, recieving 65% burns, and her 13-year-old daughter got 15% burns on an arm, and a leg, when a group of up to 10 men attacked their home at about 11 p.m. on 16 December 2021. The men were seeking revenge, as a man living there had been involved in a fight with others earlier that day, and a man got injured.

Just before 23:00 that evening, a number of men went to a house on Beverley Drive, in the Bentilee area of Stoke-on-Trent, demanding to speak to Hussain.
Staffordshire Police said the men smashed the downstairs windows and poured petrol in the hallway near to the front door and outside near to the living room window.

Five of the men were found guilty on 20 February 2026, and five others had pleaded guilty earlier.

The woman was "set on fire in her own home in front of her daughter", police say.
