I was under the assumption that her facial features were attributed to her Turner syndrome but may be mistaken.

Oh. I guess we never settled the "Is Turner Syndrome an inheritable genetic defect" question.

Sorry 'bout that. I thought it was.

ETA - So where is this facial reading stuff, anyways?

EATA - If it's like the reverse speech analysis, then never mind.

That is totally what I was thinking. Another version of "Don't you know who I am?" The way he said everyone has heard about him.

These people have had too much attention and they all think they are celebrities. Makes me wonder how many cards, letters and checks they have gotten in the past year.

Definitely!!!

When the take down started he said something like "Could you do me a favor?"

I immediately thought, "You are SO done, dude. Don't even try that b/s weasel maneuver now."

I believe Turner syndrome only affects girls so 'ol Ronnie wouldn't have those traits...

You may be correct. Regardless, both Ronald and Haleigh have their heads noticeably cocked to one side in most photographs.

[lol - now that I wrote that, it sounds pretty wacky, but I did notice it.]

Wait... the disorder that Czar Nicholas' son had was genetic, inherited from his mother, iirc. It only causes serious disease and death in male offspring.

Which video has Ron talking about Haleigh and people knowing him and dope boys not taking children? I missed that link... thanks in advance

The egocentricity that he exhibits is like..just making me nuts....I have always been wary of him..but here we have him calmly involved with dealing and buying....I mean...how can someone who's daughter is missing just act so smug..I almost am ready to :puke:

Off topic, sorry.

They had hemophilia, which is different. It's caused by a defective gene in the X chromosome. Since males have the chromosomes XY, they get the disease if they inherit it from their mother. Females with XX chromosomes need to get it from both parents to develop the disease since one working gene is enough. If they only have one defective gene they can pass the disease on to the next generation but do not get sick themselves.

Turner's syndrome is caused by XO chromosomes, the girls are missing one chromosome. While the parents may have some genetic defect I don't think Turner's syndrome can be inherited from the parents as such. Because if the mother was XO she'd have Turner's too and she'd be infertile and not a mother. And the father can't be missing an X chromosome because I don't think he would have been viable with only the chromosomes YO.

Turner's Syndrome is not a disease that only affects girls; in boys, it is called Noonan's Syndrome. However, the statement that "ol Ronnie wouldn't have those traits" is erroneous. Girls get an X from one parent and an X from the other parent. In Turner's, a girl has only one X. The second sex chromosome does not develop in the fetus. Blaming one parent over the other is silly. There is no way to tell.

Nikolas and Alexandra's son had hemophilia.

I don't know what any of this has to do with the UC videos, though. I just couldn't let it stand, so maybe they'll all be moved to the right thread :)

Not to mention bringing his precious daughter's name into the middle of a drug deal. No respect for her memory at all, imo.

I wonder if that is the cross and chain we see Ronnie wearing in the video is the one he wanted in jail?

More Undercover Drug Bust Videos Played
Ronald, Misty Cummings Sold Prescription Drugs
UPDATED: 5:42 pm EST February 19, 2010
"Snip" http://www.news4jax.com/news/22614822/detail.html

ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. -- Within eight undercover drug deal videos released by the Sheriff's Office, investigators said Ronald and Misty Cummings are seen working together to sell prescription drugs.

"Call me tomorrow," Misty said to an undercover officer in one of the videos.

"Call us tomorrow because I am suppose to come across 50 yellow Percocets and probably 50 or 60 more (inaudible)," Ronald tells the officer. "So just call me tomorrow and I'll tell you exactly what I can get."

"You gonna be with her tomorrow? Should I just call her phone?" the officer asked them.

"Yeah," they each replied.

In one of the UC videos, Ron starts off sitting in the back seat of a car talking about what drugs he said he can get.

"I guarantee you there's 50 Percocets right around the corner," Ronald said.

He then moves to the front seat and opens up to the undercover officer about his missing daughter.

"Because of my daughter, you know, anyone who's ever seen anything about it knows," he said. "Please don't ever tell no one that I did this (expletive). People would go to assuming that I was doped by or pissed someone off. Dope boys don't come and get your kids like that."

What I read on the faces in the drug sales videos: Misty show professionalism, confidence, enjoyment, focus. In the last scene, she does show effects of hangover including slower speech and stiff facial muscles, but certainly is still professional and in control.

Ron face shows fatigue, and reluctance to be involved in these activities, regret.

Funny, but I think Ron was bolting from the car without regard to what would happen to Misty. I believe he was abandoning her.

I just read expressions (right side of face only) ... I don't analyze the words, but I love to read others' analyses of verbal clues. Very enlightening. Fascinating. :twocents:

I agree with you that Misty looks more comfortable than Ron in some of these clips. She's laughing, making plans, even gets a bit flirty with the UC.

At first I thought that wow, Ron really looks like he really doesn't want to be there. Then I thought, wait a minute, when has he ever looked different? He looked like he didn't want to be there in his press conferences. He looked like he didn't want to be there when he went to get his marriage licence with Misty. He didn't want to be there at the wedding. He looked grumpy as can be in many of his interviews.

Our courier is uploading the entire video file to our FTP site---could be up as early as tonight. He hope we are getting what we asked for. I was not there to handle the transaction personally, but our courier is a very trusted associate.

Luckily I don't know any drug dealers, but I had to chuckle when she put the cash in her bra. Her body language was rather flirtatious with the undercover.

MOO

What I noticed is how expert she appeared to be at doing that. She appeared to know exactly where and how to place it, and she wasn't fumbling one bit. She was quite confident at doing it, and I noticed she wore clothes that made it easy to place it quick.

I didn't notice RC being scared, shy, or uncomfortable. I did notice he did the math though. moo

Why do you think he says that? Why does he worry about people thinking that a pissed off dealer took his child? Just because it could be considered his fault for being involved in drugs? But I would have thought that it'd be a largely irrelevant concern if one had a child missing. A parent should be ready to confess their drug involvement if it had the potential to help find their missing child. What would it matter what they think about my drug use if they keep their eyes open for my child who is possibly alive somewhere? I would understand if he worried about people thinking he or Misty killed Haleigh because it would mean they're not looking for her alive, but he's not, he's just worried that his reputation will get a drug stain. Is it because he knows what happened to Haleigh? If he knows angry dope boys had nothing to do with taking Haleigh, what else does he know?

I dunno about you but if I hear someone has a child missing and it seems like they're drugging themselves silly, I don't automatically assume that they pissed someone off and that someone got the child as revenge anyway. I would be far more likely to assume that the drug using parents neglected or hurt the child and are covering for themselves. It seems to be the more common case (but I've been wrong once or twice)
