I forgot the end of that statement and he did say "that he ever had". Wasn't this followed closely by the statement that he would "give my life for my child's life back", followed by his throwing himself on the ground to create drama to cover his misspeaks. Ron was going all Freudian that morning. Theresa should have taken those drugs away.

yep and IIRC, he also told us that HaLeigh wasn't a bicycle or a pair of tennis shoes. Then as you said, he must of even realized how stupid he sounded (or maybe TN nudged him to let him know) so he threw himself down and after his non award winning performance proceeded to get up and speak again in his normal drugged up voice, dry eyes and all....:puke:..

I have a question. Why are people allowed to plead not guilty when clearly they are guilty? There are 8 video tapes, and these videos are clear, not fuzzy no mistake in identity. I know they are going with the entrapment defense but still Not guilty, please they also all admitted their involvement. It should be a crime to for the court system to allow this waste of our tax payer dollars!
When our Founding Fathers adopted the Bill of Rights there were no video cameras. Here's a wiki. Check it out. The Fifth and Sixth Amendments will be of particular interest to you. ;)

Ron Cummings: "Dope boys don't come and get your kids like that." And, Ron knows this because?

I tend to think Misty was so freaked out when LE showed up, and messed up on top of it, that she didn't even remember she had her purse. This is what Ron left his kids with - I suspect Ron ought to be happy JR. isn't missing as well. JMO.

raisin, this post makes me feel so sad for Haleigh.

Wow, it looks like they made it as complicated as they could. Because from what I could tell, in the last tape made- the one where they were arrested- there's a clip earlier on, the one where Misty is talking about passing the pills in the bathroom. Wonder why? I would think only because they had to meet Ron- who you notice isn't in the backseat at the time- to get the money at Spinners. Because who's going to give them something before they get the money first? Anyway, so he's not back there during that clip, but Misty is wearing the same shirt and has her hair the same way and they're on their way to the same place as where they were arrested.
When they get arrested, he said, he'd just come out of the store from buying cigarettes, but it's kind of a coincidence that they'd all just happen to be there. But I'm wondering if K didn't give him a ride up there to drop off the money maybe? That's the only reason I can see for Misty having to go all the way to the store to make the switch and for Ron to conveniently be there.

Hope you can follow this. Sorry it's so scatter-brained.

Was it Lindsy that said Misty was a follower?

Sure looks as if the drug dealing was a real boon to her self esteem and leadership skills. JMO - but, it appears to me in these snippets that Misty is the one in control and calling the shots. Can't wait to see more of these.

Boots you make it very hard for me to keep a civil tongue in my head. Cause that was funny.

He knows this because he knows what happened to Haleigh and it wasn't "dope boys"
MOO!

I understand that we all have rights but when someone is this guilty, we shouldnt have to foot the bill is what I'm saying.

I know what you mean but they may plan to prove not guilty by reason of insanity, claim entrapment, self-defense, not actually but you get my point. Just because you see them do it doesn't mean they are guilty of it.

LOL That sounds so stupid. But it's our court system.

Could it be possible that MC was in Ks car at that time and there was a camera in there? Just throwing this out there....

I am a little hazy on the "entrapment" thing...
Isn't that what the police are supposed to do, is catch criminals in the act? Isn't that what "undercover" officers DO is entrapment? I just can't see how "entrapment" could possibly BE a defense for ANY one, I mean, of course the law is trying to entrap criminals...right? Is that REALLY against the law, or a legal defense???:waitasec:

Anyhow, watched the videos, and some others of the entire family in court that day and Misty's mom being taken away in handcuffs, and I have to say it runs in the family. Parents who are thieves and drug addicts raise children to do the same, and in the rare instance a child MAY break the chains and escape, but the rule is the majority and the exceptions to the rule are few...

Born in sin, come on in.

It is so sad to see young lives over before they had a chance to truly begin...

But what is sadder still is that poor little Haleigh was left in the care of someone like Misty Croslin-uneducated, trained in the criminal arts, addicted to serious drugs, unemployed, unecumbered, irresponsible, and left to her own devices by her own parents at such a young age with little to no guidance in the field of morals and ethics. I would not leave my cat with her. much less my child.

In that video there are several different buys or trips. Watch the color of the Drivers shirt.

In that very last one you do not see them driving anywhere, Misty is in the front and Ron in the back and the deal is done. Ron starts getting out right before the cops pull up. I believe Misty when she says Katrina took them there after all Ron had just got done working for her supposedly. I wonder if Katrina saw the cops rolling up and honked or something.

In another video, Misty said money was difficult to come by because she couldn't find work.

"(Ronald) knows better. He has a job. I can't get that," Misty said. "People won't hire me. They won't hire Misty Croslin."

Ronald has a job?

Here's Misty and a cunning plan...:

"You just leave the pills right there and I'll pick them up when I walk into the bathroom," Misty tells Ronald in the video. "You go in there and it looks like I'm waiting on you to use the bathroom."

So if dope boyz don't do dhat, who was Ron talking about then on the 911 call? You let my child get stole...

By whom?

Wow, I missed all this action last night. It's nice to see that these tapes show Ron and Misty in their true element. Ron's story about just buying smokes and jumping in the car with Misty, is pretty much blown out of the water. TN has a lot of covering to do when she speaks to Ronnie on the phone, can't wait to see what she comes up with next.

It is crazy, but all defendants are told to plead not guilty during their first appearance so that the judge doesn't have to sentence right then and there. Even if the defendant wants to plead guilty, the attorney will pull them aside and explain the process is for them to say "not guilty". It doesn't mean that they will be fighting the charges, they may very well plead guilty down the road. The Judge doesn't want to deal with sentencing during arraignments. Crazy, huh ?

I liked the ending of this video :)

Did you note - Misty is hanging onto her purse when LEOs show up - thought it was suppose to have been left in K's car ....hmmmmm. LE got her cell phone then, bet they used the information from that phone.

I noticed that too. The more I hear of Misty the more I can see she tells pork pies (lies). She certainly was hanging on to her purse in the video. I hope her folks see that!
