Unedited Police Interrogation Videos of Jodi

I agree, Minor4th, but I don't think she knew she'd stabbed him exactly blank number of times. I don't think she was counting each one in her head. If she was, definitely hit her with premeditation.

Dropping the knife. Another vivid image from a MOVIE!

I heard you can know criminals are lying by some of the "crystalized" visions they give of a crime. dropping the knife and the gun jamming are examples because it's what they'd commonly heard or seen in a movie. In another case I saw, the police talked about how a lady said she could never forget how the light overhead in a stall was swinging when she found her dead husband in there. So these descriptive narratives--just theatrics.

Hey to all. Haven't been here in 3 or so days. In-laws from out of town.
I spent all today watching the unedited interrogation videos. I haven't started reading the earlier blogs yet but I hope some of them answer one thing I want to know.....How come neither detective called Jodi out on constantly messing with that voice recorder that was on the table? There was A LOT of boringness with those videos. I couldn't stand to watch Jodi lying around on the table and her other theatrics when she was alone, except for the interesting delving into the trash can. SO, after maybe the 3rd video I started to fast forward through some of the nothingness. Also spotted JA trying real hard to eavesdrop on whomever was talking in the hallway at various junctures. My favorite part of Jodi alone was when she was eating. She started out eating her sammich very slowly but then picked it up and started to pig out. Then she stopped and opened the sammich to remove whatever it was she didn't care for. I secretly hoped she would choke on the chips. Anyway, on to page one.

Video 6 21:00

Lady Cop: What u say is basically irrelevant to their case - not irrelevant, but it's not gonna make it any better, but it can certainly help u out.

JA: How can it help me? I mean how can what i tell you now affect the media?

One thing I know about JA is she forgets nothing. I find it impossible to believe there's a single moment of that murder she doesn't remember.

:rocker:

Along with Jodi being a "Free Spirit".

The truest words ever spoken!

Flores: When you want to do something, you just go and do it, and deal with the consequences later.

JA: Yeah.

Are we in again Monday or Tuesday? I keep reading conflicting things.

Did you see how she tries to get Flores to turn on the tape to record her before she starts? He goes, "No, leave it off. it's just me and you...."

I wonder if that corner camera is hidden, and she really doesn't believe that she's already being recorded?

I wondered too if she knew she was being recorded? Some of her actions suggest she was playing to the camera (the head stand, for example) but other actions -- like playing with the tape recorder while she is alone -- make me question this.

What was funny was that, at one point, she takes the small cassette out of the tape recorder and looks at it before putting it back in. Flores enters just at that moment, says something and then takes the recorder, as if he accidentally forgot it.

Pretty sure it's Tuesday. Monday is legal holiday for Easter.

Can someone please tell me which video has the "sandwich eating?"

BBM~ Me too!

Jodi had self esteem issues. She might have been able to have any guy, but she had to believe it within herself for it to manifest. People say that I can have any guy I want, as well, but I do not believe that and never have. That's why I'm about to be 40 and unmarried.

I haven't watched all of the videos, but the thing that is bugging me the most is her just sitting there and not saying a word when asked questions. I know she has the right to remain silent, but she is just sitting there stone cold! Talk about poker face. She's sitting there as this is going on trying to think up her next move.

The lack of respect she shows these police detectives is astounding.

I get nervous when the police give me a speeding ticket. I'd be a blubbering mess if I was in JA's shoes.

Minor can JM bring up that Travis did not know she was taking pictures from video 10 info? That would totally sink her boat and show it was premeditated. Thanks.

Everyone has a segment on the tape that speaks volumes to him or her. Quite some time after Flores has first thrown out the possibility that someone else was present at the crime, it becomes clear that Arias has stored that for use. In Tape #14, she has found her "out" based on this suggestion of a 3d person. He is asking if she took the gun with her (when leaving on her trip). She replies, "Oh, I didn't". He then asks, "Where did you get it?" No response, then "Did you bring it with you?" Arias replies in a weak matter of fact tone, "I never had it, actually--in my possession." This is the formation moment. She had already admitted to Flores that Travis had no gun, explicitly in the house. Not that she knew of. And the interrogator is hammering on the gun. How did it get there. She is being pushed through the corner and is mentally desperate. Therefore, she never had it. The masked intruders from nowhere drop deus ex machina. Nevertheless, she is equivocating in that answer & larding her denial in a way that rings so false. Profilers & speech analysts would make much of it. Yes, Arias, actually.

Yeah, Tuba. I just hope Dr. Sam wouldn't be the one doing the analytical on her speech.

You believe they had sex downstairs in the office? that's hard to believe since his roommates had been in and out that day.

My fav moment is when Jodi sees that Flores is looking at her like she's BSing, and she goes "It's fine if you don't believe me...."

When she says that Travis said, "I feel gay." I can actually see that expression on his face in one of the first of the shower pictures.

thank you to David Lohr for the unedited interrogation videos! I am in the middle of #12 Det. Flores was questioning her about if she was alone or if someone was with her and suddenly I really do believe she did have an accomplice. I know others have said she would've outed that person if that was the case, but I think she knew if she did, then 2 would get DP and she wouldn't be able to use all her bs DV and PTSD and pedo bs. She pauses for a long time afte rhe asks her this, and he tells her Travis' family wasnt to know too and I think her silence is becasue she knows there's no way out if she says that.

In the middle of #11, she is playing with the recorders and Det. Flores says, "you can turn it off, its just me and you."

It seems like the detectives acted like the female detective made a big point of recording the session, whereas Det. Flores acts like he is not recording her.

This makes me think that Jodi may not be aware of the video/audio recording going on throughout the entirety of her time in that room.

Spent the day watching the newly released interrogation videos and catching up on the threads. It's a good thing I'm not the one hosting Easter dinner this year, lol.

I'm expecting 20 adults and 12 kids tomorrow. I keep coming back here for more video viewing in between tasks, pretending I'm looking up recipes. I just cannot walk away from this fascinating case! One of my guests is also following this, so maybe we'll spend some time tomorrow furtively watching the interrogation videos while everyone else looks for Easter eggs!

For those of you still muddling through the videos, only about the first half of 17 and the last 10 minutes of 18 are anything other than Jodi writing and eating a sandwich.

I think she wanted to see just to see again what she had done...some sort of sick pleasure. I cannot say when it was or even who was on the stand at the time...because I have only seen bits and pieces of testimony because of my work schedule...but at one point when he had either crime scene or autopsy photos on the screen and Jodi was trying to act like she wasn't looking that there was a...well...almost a "smirk" on her face as she glanced at the screen and then tried to turn away so no one caught her looking. I wish I knew where so I could post a link, but it was really disturbing.

I think I seen a picture of what you are talking about. She has a slight smirk on her face and this weird look in her eyes...almost of pleasure. It was like this distant stare as if her mind was reliving the murder and enjoying it. It definitely was disturbing.
