Is there a reason they leave her by herself for periods of time, like are they watching her through one way glass, or is it because they have other things to do? TIA

They do it for a variety of effective reasons. I have heard it referred to as letting the suspect "marinate". It can be to give them time to absorb the enormity of the situation or give police a chance to observe behaviors, try new tactics with them, keep them off balance. Leaving them alone also give the officers time to regroup, update stuff, check out other leads on stuff the suspect has just revealed.

Look how effectively it showed a diverse variety of odd behaviors, obvious lies and shows how she really is.

It was multiple pieces of paper she removed from the legal pad.
Yes, she had to show Detective Blaney the papers after Detective Blaney asked her if she took some paper with her.
Yes, there is another instance of her in the garbage, right after she started to eat her sandwich.

She talked like she watched a lot of crime shows on tv. I'd be surprised if she didn't know they could see her in there.

I think she got off on it. Actually, I think she got off on the whole thing. I think she enjoyed being on center stage, especially with Flores.

I had to go through some red tape to get them. It took a couple weeks and had to be cleared by the prosecutors office.

In video 16, she eats her sandwich, wipes her mouth with the tissue, puts it in the trash. Grabs a napkins for her hands. Almost puts it in the trash. Retrieves that tissue back out the trash and puts it in her lap. I no longer see it after that.

Was she afraid someone would get her DNA off the tissue cause she wiped her mouth? They told her they already had it, but police are allowed to lie. Maybe she's trying not to take chances. Was this the paper she was asked to give back? Nevermind. I see she's pocketing notebook paper. What of the tissue?
