Unedited Police Interrogation Videos of Jodi

Super creepy .. #11 16:00, specifically the photos Jodi wishes to see are not the photos of them having sex, not the photos in the shower, not the photos of the bathroom / bedroom, but the photos 'of after everything'.

Yes Jodi, you're right. It's kind of morbid.
She really wanted to see the "after pics." She asked several times. I don't think it was morbid curiosity or even gloating. I don't think she would feel anything about what she had done. But, she did want to give them a story, but she didn't want to do it until she felt that she knew what they knew. IMO, she only wanted to see the pics so she could create a story that fit with the pics.

^ except for the fact that she already knew the story because she had been the one to kill him, so she could have fit any bs scenario into what happened that day.

:seeya: I know nothing about police interrogation interviews!

Is there a reason they leave her by herself for periods of time, like are they watching her through one way glass, or is it because they have other things to do? TIA

I assume someone is watching her & as I've watched the videos, I've made myself laugh several times. Like when she's standing on her head, I picture one of the detectives taking a double take and calling the rest of the police station over "OMG, look at this chick!", or when she goes through the trash :floorlaugh: Trying to find levity in some of it because otherwise, I'd vomit my way through the videos!

I've gotten to video 14 so far. So much to talk about!

I was so anxious to see how Jodi finally went from "I wasn't there" to "two intruders killed Travis" - I was expecting some eureka moment of confrontation or something, but nope. I guess it was simply that Jodi got worn down over 2 days of of the detectives saying over and over and over that they knew she was there and nothing would change their minds. Ultimately Jodi just went along with it - no big eureka moment of confession; she just changed her story without anyone even acknowledging out loud that she was changing her story.

One other thing - I think Jodi really did have some fognesia about the stabbing. I say that because: 1. When she tells the intruder story she never is able to give any details about the stabbing; 2. She asked how many times Travis was stabbed - I think she may remember stabbing him but doesn't remember the extent of it; 3. She keeps asking about photos - at one point she wants to see pictures of where everything was after the fact -- of course this could be Jodi wanting to see what they had, but if she remembered everything, she would know these things and would be able to formulate her story around what happened; 4. When she first starts talking about the killing she said it was all such a blur and makes simular comments a number of times. I really get a strong impression that it was a blur and she does not have a crystal clear memory of what happened. Not that it has any bearing on her guilt IMO
I really don't think she wants to tell that part, the stabbing. She did say IF she would murder Travis she would use a gun because it was more Humane. She knows the stabbing was way over the top along with a gun shot to the head especially for self defense. She had a few days to research the manor of the killing just by talking to people about what someone else may have done(strangers) to gain that knowledge as to what to say and what not to say.
The experts are using fognesia as an excuse for her to get her off. It probably won't hurt to try because she has no other defense. She's sunk!!!!

Damn Flores for offering up the possibility that someone else was with her so often when she was just about to crack. No wonder she went into the Ninja story, although it is funny when you watch hours of questioning and she pops out with that nonsense.

I had always assumed she walked in after the first night in jail and drops that version the next morning, very interesting to use it after she all but confesses to the female detective.

At least Flores calls her on it straight away, with the 'you stupid liar' tone.

Not that I needed convincing but after listening to these videos I am 100% certain that the murder of Travis was premeditated and the motive was jealousy, pure and simple.
I'm not a psychopath but I have had a few situations where I broke up with a man I was madly (obsessively) in love with and they have immediately hooked up with someone else. There is no pain greater, at least to me, then seeing a man you love with another woman. It was unbearable and I became suicidal at the thought of him being with her, doing things with her. None of them ever married the woman but when JA says to Flores that she hadn't found anyone to marry yet but Travis had, I know without a doubt that on June 4, 2008 she believed that Travis's marriage to Mimi was a done deal and that was something she just couldn't bear. While I might have become suicidal I think JA became homicidal. There was just no way she was going to allow Travis marry another.
It's funny because the song "You Oughta Know" was my theme song. I played that full blast feeling every word. I believe that JA felt exactly the same way and her reaction was to eliminate the source of her pain.

Isn't det. Blaney a CA detective? This wasn't her case. I think she thought she could help Det. Flores out. She didn't know the case backwards and forwards like he did. She did great. JA didn't answer a lot but she didn't deny she was there every 2 minutes.

So telling she wanted the MAN back!

Yes. Very early on in Det. Flores' testimony*, Juan asks a question about Det. Blaney. I've been wanting to hear her interviews with Jodi ever since then. I'm not at all disappointed in her work. I think she did the absolute best she could with what she had.

ETA: *No, it was Nathan Mendez from Siskiyou County Sheriff's Dept. I should go look at my notes but I am lazy.

Hi guys...
Still trying to get caught up...super "jodi on the crazy train" videos when watched in their unedited format--wowzers!!!

I had a weird thought, and I'm sure someone has prolly brought this up by now (so many different threads to keep track of...so Im sorry if this has been hashed and rehashed...) but I find the timing of the release of all this footage to be uncanny. Looooooooong weekend? Unsequestered jurors? I just hope it doesn't backfire.
Moo.

Ok, I'm on 9 and I just realized that JA is enjoying herself, enjoying all the attention, how important she is now and how much they want her. Well, they don't want her, they want her information but to her it's all the same. She is teasing and leading them on, letting them think that just maybe she will tell the truth but then pulls back and throws out another red herring and waits for them to continue to beg her.
And when the female detective talks about how much pain Travis's family is in and how much it would help if she told them why she did what she did, I really feel like she loves hearing about the pain she caused and the more the detective asks her to help their pain the more she relishes being in control and the reason for that pain.

In video 16, she eats her sandwich, wipes her mouth with the tissue, puts it in the trash. Grabs a napkins for her hands. Almost puts it in the trash. Retrieves that tissue back out the trash and puts it in her lap. I no longer see it after that.

Was she afraid someone would get her DNA off the tissue cause she wiped her mouth? They told her they already had it, but police are allowed to lie. Maybe she's trying not to take chances. Was this the paper she was asked to give back? Nevermind. I see she's pocketing notebook paper. What of the tissue?

She had already given a DNA sample in Arizona when she was there for the memorial.

I just want to give a big :tyou: to DAVID :yourock:

I read your post about Tawndilly ripping them and not bothering to give you credit and I'm pizzed. You did a lot of work to obtain them, then you used audio software so we can hear it even better, you cut them up and uploaded them. That's a lot of WORK and you deserve the credit and gratitude that goes with it.

It's an honor having you as a member, you have a big heart David.

She was making requests of the police department within only a few minutes of being detained. She assumed they would care if the interrogation room was too cold for her. Ugh.

JA states on the first tape that her family is awesome. I guess she forgot how awesome they were in the courtroom.

Yes Jodi, you're right. It's kind of morbid.

Maybe she wanted to see the accidental photos. :jail: Wow Dt. Flores has great self restraint and patience. Amazing work.:great:

Her talking laughing and singing to herself really shows how guilty she is IMO. and the fact that she could slit someone's throat and literally laugh during her interrogation. She's a monster
In the first video she is extremely relaxed and perhaps almost asleep while waiting for the detective to enter the room WHILE SHE'S DETAINED FOR HOMICIDE. Anyone who was not a skilled pathological liar would have been very anxious. Her behavior shouts "PSYCHOPATH".

IIRC, Jodi and some of Travis's friends all went to Mesa PD and gave mouth swab DNA samples while she was there for the memorial service. Maybe she thought she had cleaned up well enough? Or that she could explain away her DNA there by her "living there for months and months"?

Actually, in one of the phone calls between JA & DF, during the initial investigation, DF tells her that they think 2 people did it.
I think that's when ninja seed was planted in that melon on her neck.
MOO

actually, I think the reason for both a gun and a knife from the beginning was to make it like two people did it.

In the wonderful opposite world of Jodi Arias, this: http://youtu.be/XTs2DZ3GYJ4?t=17m48s part where she says the Ninja took some of Jodi's cash out of her wallet makes me wonder if Travis caught her taking money out of his.

Wow ok, so Jody got her new game plan from the brilliant female detective. "We don't need you to say a word, we already know you did this. But im here for you. And you can take control of this situation by painting yourself in a better light. Maybe he used you in some way. But how you protray yourself is how you can control the situation." <<< what is this crap? It's encouraging her to lie. Not to tell the truth of what happened but to demonize Travis and find a way to tailor a story to the evidence that makes her look like a victim. Wtf?

  • #459
THE focus of JA was to see those photos of poor Travis.
She asks and asks and asks again.
She is one sick evil thing.
Another example that goes against the Drs testimony that she avoided things that reminded her of the "trauma". She really is twisted. I can't look at the photos and I didn't even know him but she begs to see them. I can't get my mind around that.
