On Friday, November 18, 2016, at about 6:09 p.m., police responded to a shooting in the area of Eglinton Avenue E & Sloane Avenue.

The victim - transported to hospital before police arrival - had been in a vehicle, and was suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim died shortly after arrival at the hospital.
