On Monday, December 19, 2016, at about 8:49 a.m., police responded to a 911 call at 2067 Islington Avenue.

The victim was discovered inside his apartment residence, suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite life-saving efforts by emergency personnel, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
