Without dna how could they go global with this and the president confirm? Someone(several imo) in high authority has always been hiding him. That's how they knew. I've heard they can do dental in a few hours but they had inside info that included dna samples of his hair, saliva, etc. before hand. The only way they are sure it is him, without a doubt.

In reading one of the Al-Jazeera's newspapers, OBL died late april (like the 21st or something). It took awhile to get his body back, to get DNA and body confirmation.

Can u imagine if the Prez came out and said he was dead and he really wasn't! I think the Sunday news conference was because most people are home tonight and watching the tele.

Very interesting speech if anyone paid attention to the wording and language - it was relatively passive, with a focus on the success of the US rather than saying 'we're still going to continue fighting against terrorists' etc.

Ahhh shucks. I know what I mean, but it's not coming out right. It was just very different to usual speeches by US politicians.

I agree. I think most of the speech was written ages ago (in hopes of finding OBL) then modified when they actually found him. I could tell the prez wasn't talking off the cuff.

The President said it was a 8 month investigation and he just gave the order a couple of days ago to take him. There was some kind of firefight and shot the SOB in the head. It just happened.
