well I have seen the picture of him dead and can honestly say it didn't bother me at all.
Where have you seen the photo?
Ironically, Adolph Hitler died on April 30/May 1, as well.

if you google bin laden dead and then click over to images - it comes up on the second row. You can't click on the picture - you get that error message - but you can blow up your screen and get a little better shot.Where have you seen the photo?

Fireworks going off here in Iowa!!!
Really, it will appease anyone to merely kill their figurehead, but bury him according to Islamic tradition?
I'm sure this was just an honest accident;

Why make things worse between us and Muslims. Why give them something to use as a recruiting tool in Al Queada?
Try this:The only photo I'm seeing that is of bin laden is one that was posted to blogs in 2002 claiming he had been killed. Perhaps I'm looking at the wrong one.
Here's a round for all of us -

Big crowd gathering a Ground Zero too. CNN is interviewing people there.

third picture, second row
ABC- If I just heard that correctly they just said he wil/may (not sure) be buried at sea?
I get their point. They want to show we are better than he was, at least we show respect for our enemies remains. But even though I get it, I don't think they will. I mean these are the same people who use suicide bombers in areas where their own citizens are. They accept collateral damage as nothing.
WoW, what a story!!!That's where my DD is texting me from.
My DD is texting me from the celebration at ground zero. She was in 4th grade when I had to pick her up from school b/c the school was on red alert and on lockdown. Her teacher, a NYC native, was gently crying in their classroom for hours and the kids did not know why. She'd received a call about a personal loss - in the towers. But she couldn't leave the children b/c they were on lockdown.
mama mama what happened to my teacher today, my 4th grader asked me.
I didn't know what to say. So I took a deep breath and I let her watch the news with her big sister while I held their hands and translated.
Amazing she is there tonight. A college freshman.
its the same one JBean just posted too. That's the same picture that was posted to numerous blogs back in 2002 when claims were made that he had been killed. That's the only one I'm seeing.
