16-year-old Akasha Novaia Moss (Miller) has been missing since Oct. 4.

WEST VALLEY CITY — The search for a West Valley City teen is ongoing.

Akasha Novaia Moss (Miller) has not been seen since Oct. 4 at 7:45 p.m. She was last seen in the area of 3900 South and Lee Maur Street West.

She is 5-foot-9-inches, and 210 pounds. She has short dirty blonde hair with hazel eyes.

She is a special needs teenager, who is off her medication and is not dressed for the weather.

This looks like a real possibility. The location of the pond is less than 3 miles directly north of where she was last seen.

This is crazy, I was fishing very close to this pond yesterday! It's in a pretty populated area, lots of office buildings and a golf course. Crazy for something like this to happen there.

Also, I realized that the place the remains were found is private property and is a posted no-trespassing area. A lot of people ignore it and still fish there though.

A reporter from ABC 4 talked to family members of six people who are missing from the West Valley area, all hoping that the remains found are their loved one.
