"....On October 9, 2011, Your Affiant was contacted again by Deputy Gary Worthen, whom was contacted again at home by jail staff in regards to a letter sent to him by (BLACKED OUT). Deputy Worthen obtained this letter which states, "It was a terrible tragedy that happened at her home". (BLACKED OUT) wrote "It's something she (Dea) can't fix". (BLACKED OUT) stated (Dea) is worried about telling on her husband it had something to do with a girl dying. (BLACKED OUT) wrote, "Only her, her husband and one other person know about it". (BLACKED OUT) wrote she (Dea) is afraid that she could lose everything, children and life. (BLACKED OUT) wrote (Dea) "Wont tell about it to the police and she's sorry it happened and she's too solid to tell what it is". (BLACKED OUT) wrote "she (Dea) can't change it; she's protecting herself & husband and one other male friend". (BLACKED OUT) wrote "It's still is in the state and hope it don't get found out about". (BLACKED OUT) wrote "Drug related something to do with a case". "Find the car* you find an answer, she's dead". (BLACKED OUT) wrote "Dea knows everything that happened the girl is buried somewhere n the state she's not gone but not alive". ...."

I wonder who that "one other person" is?

*Evidently they had sold their 1993 Taurus in early October. I guess that's what is meant by 'find the car'.

Sounds like the same thing that happened with Alexis. Very sad and very disturbing. :furious:

This case makes me so sick to my stomach on so many levels.
It's just unimaginable to think what these disgusting creatures did to Alexis.
And to think there was a baby in that home !
I hope they find a good home for the baby.I wonder if there are more than one children in that household?
I wonder how long ago the boy was babysitting for them?
I'm also so so tired of all these cases were teenagers are being labeled runaways.
It hinders the investigation and even if they are runaway these are children that need to be found!
I just don't get it.

A North Ogden woman who has been called a "person of interest" in the death of Alexis Rasmussen is facing new criminal charges.

Dea Millerberg, 38, was charged Tuesday with one count of endangerment of a child or a vulnerable adult, a third-degree felony, in 2nd District Court. There was no probable cause statement attached to the single charge explaining the alleged crime.

It's an initial appearance, we don't have anything yet, but I believe it was based on a hair follicle test that was done on at least one of the children in (Millerberg's) home and they got results back showing the child was exposed to drugs," Bouwhuis said.

The Division of Child and Family Services would have taken the hair sample after taking the children from their parents, who were each facing drug charges, the attorney said.

Weber County Jail staff verified Tuesday that Dea Millerberg is no longer at the facility.

Records from the Weber County Jail show Dea Millerberg's stepfather paid her $15,000 bail and she was released Dec. 6.

Ogden • The Weber County Attorney’s Office on Tuesday filed charges against Eric and Dea Millerberg in the death of their 16-year-old babysitter.
Alexis Rasmussen was found buried near the Weber River in Morgan County on Oct. 18. Weber County Attorney Dee Smith said at a Monday afternoon news conference the North Ogden teen died of a drug overdose.
Eric Millerberg is charged with felony counts of child abuse homicide, obstructing justice, unlawful sexual activity with a minor and abuse or desecration of a dead body. His wife faces one count of felony abuse or desecration of a dead human body charge.
